Austin can charm many, but what is it? That look? That smile? That funky fashion? Or that he is just one hell of a sweet talker who can lie like a rug.
He has crashed parties, gotten an agent, started a career and got jobs on that charm.
He's claimed to been a party guest, a tennis player and great at basketball. He's even charmed his way out of a broken nkle from Milch & Company. And if you can get past Milch's bullshit meter, you must be good, damn good.
If he ever put the Southern drawl with it who's to know what he could do. He could chat you up, pick your pocket and have you saying thank you.

Wicked, I'm SO looking forward to the commentary by Milch. (Speaking of commentaries, I'm reminded of why I loved Bubble Boy so much, it was the commentary with Jake and Director Blair Hayes that... to my pleasure, high-lighted that crazy and so very open Jake Gyllenhaal, as he talked and charmed his way through the entire 84 minutes.) I'd love to hear Jake and Austin sit down and discuss the making of TDAT, now wouldn't that be a treat for all TB's. ...But for tonight, it's JFC episode 1.

What happens when a sweet talker meets a sweet tooth? So much sexual electricity that I can feel it even here, just from a film clip or photograph taken years ago. Those two have something special. I recall some discussion about how some of the shots in TDAT seemed to be framed around Jake and Austin. You know Roland, an out gay man himself, had to see that sexual aura. We should be thanking him for a film extra.

Did you know that Jessica Biel and Jake Gyllenhaal were doing a movie together? Kind of the perfect couple if you ask me. No demands for either of them. But, that is not the point of this post. The pair is filming a movie entitled Nailed which is filming in South Carolina.
One of the great things about the internet is that everyone wants to contribute gossip. Last week we got the great Ry Ry hissy fit from Ryan Reynolds in Boston, and this week we get Jake the Diva in South Carolina.
On Wednesday Jake was filming a scene in the South Carolina State House. This was going to be one day of filming. Had to get done, because the producers had not made any arrangements for any other days inside the building. Everyone was on their very best behavior and knew they would have only one chance. But someone forgot to tell Jake.
“He was complaining that the room was too small, complaining about the temperature, complaining about his chair,” our source says. “It was like watching a two-year old have a meltdown every five minutes.”
He complained so long, and so often that the crew was forced to shut down early, and the producers had to arrange for an extra day of filming. I'm just guessing that Jake has maybe found some southern loving and just wants to do everything in his power to stay a little longer. To be fair to Jake, the director of the film is the same guy who directed I Heart Huckabees and caused Lily Tomlin to almost kill herself. Word has it that James Caan who was also starring in this film quit after being abused by the director.
On the other hand, the person you would think would be more diva has actually been a joy. Jessica Biel has talked to anyone and everyone. She has posed for hundreds and hundreds of photos and even was seen turning cartwheels on the grounds of the State House. It seems that everyone in the town has fallen in love with Jessica Biel. And why not? She has her dog with her and her "trainer" and best of all, no Justin.

I chuckled over that picture of Reese watching Atticus sniffing the pole. "omg, omg. He's sniffing this pole! Why are we stopping? My dog doesn't do this! At least that's what I've been told." I don't think she has any natural rapport with animals in general, but she's probably not used to walking a big dog. The dainty leash work is so funny but good boy, Atticus for not pulling on your leash; you're well-trained. :)

Every time I see Reese with Atticus, I think that she must have "people" who take care of her dog. She clearly does not know how to relate to one. And has she ever been photographed walking her own dog? I would imagine that has happened rarely, if at all. Makes it that much more obvious that these types of pics are nothing but photo ops.

It just makes me cringe to see those pics. Juggling coffee and trying to walk a large dog, as someone mentioned above, does not shout dog-walking experience. Poor Atti! You can see from his doggie body language that he's not thrilled. Where's the wagging tail, the doggie smile? Probably misses Jake. :(
He should be bounding around on the park, not sniffing common city street poles! Where's he expected to do his business? Or is that when the changing of caretaker took place? ;)

Reese is actually a pretty big dog person. She has a dog walker but really likes dogs. She always took good care of Ryan's dog. Although he had three cats at one time then they were gone. That could have been because of the babies or something.

maybe its just me but when I walk my dogs or friends dogs, even if its a routine walk we [the dog and me] have a good ol time, wagging and petting and laughing and me talking to the dog and looking at each other. always happy, having a good time outside and exploring. but Reese? nah, she looks like she regrets taking him out. Bet that's the last time we see them together, she'll prob keep him and his gosh darn fleas in the yard for the next 10 weeks.

I thought they got married in Martha's Vineyard last summer. Jake said they had gotten married on one of the talk shows when he was doing promotion for "Rendition."
From what I knew she loved her dogs. She had a Chihuahua mixed breed for 12 or 13 years and was devestated when he died. She took Frank everywhere let him sleep in her bed overfed the hell out of him. She really does like dogs.
I don't know if she LOVES them. She can be pretty cold and practical but she certainly doesn't dislike dogs.

Sorry, but a Chihuahua should never be placed on the same level as a German Shepherd.
A Shepherd is a quick, intelligent, fiesty, brave, loyal and fun-loving companion.
A Chihuahua is a bug-eyed chachki that snaps and growls.
Caring for the former requires dedication and time. The later a fannypack.

Poodles are the second smartest canines (only Border Collies are smarter). I love poodles.
I wonder if she prefers little dogs, but a large dog isn't her cup of tea. My hackles are raised when I hear about people treating living things like accessories, not to say that Reese does, but the likes of Paris Hilton and Britney Spears. Overfeeding is just not caring for an animal properly, period. Sometimes a dog is very rambunctious, and needs room to run for an outing, not a quick trip to Starbuck's and a pee at a lampost. :(

I agree with clarity, frenchy, so perfectly said! Can we toss in hideous purses hanging off the bent arms holding said coffees? Oh, and workout clothes worn as everyday wear? (this is not just directed at Reese).
Not to drill the Reese and dogs discussion into the ground, but I think if Reese really loved dogs there'd be some genuine PDA between herself and Atticus. Not for show, but because she wouldn't be able to help herself. With him or any other dog. I know I'd be at his level on bended knee, talking to him and scratching that furry neck with both hands. All in all not a good week for Jake or Reese, I think. The Umbrella pics made him look foolish. The tantrum got negative press on several sites including a weekend headline on Defamer. He looks like a kid in today's pics. Reese looks absolutely terrible in her recent pics. No chemistry at all with Atti. Someone needs to tell her that her days of going without makeup are over. It happens to all women, sadly. Still, if you had asked me a week ago, I would have said we'd get hardly any press until Brothers came out, but we have had a real feast. I'm loving it. Can't wait to see what next week brings.

You know some of these comments are just plain stupid on Atticus. I take offense as working with rescues and being a foster mom for all kinds of breeds. Yes Reese has a hand full of stuff but then again Atticus as you can see is quite trained and I see nothing wrong with her taking him w/ her for coffee. Dogs love to just be with you no matter how long or how short the ride/ walk is. Atticus looks fine to me. Some of you people read too much into a second in time really it is getting so old. Oh and maybe from where some of you come from there are no flea meds but responsible dog owners have them on them. Bash Jake and Reese all you want but lay off the dog as he can't defend himself from your stupid idiotic comments about him and his mind set. Usually I find it quite funny and entertaining here but some of you are just plain scary! I also find the comment about the Chihuahua quite offensive. I have a female here that is a permenant foster due to the hard life she had before coming into the rescue. I prefer large dogs but she fits in just fine with the others and is such a joy. I would have never picked that breed if I was going to get a small dog but sometimes they pick you. Oh and I also have a white long haired German Shepherd here and the 2 of them play together all the time. It is quite cute.
