Mark(ed) Rick or Steve

Next week's One Tree Hill ; Episode 6.11"We Three (My Echo, My Shadow, and Me) was written by Chad Michael Murray (Lucas).

The story is set in 1941 and in classic noir and revolves around Brooke having some problems over money and men. (And that's different from any other week?) She tries to get Lucas back but he rejects her. She also owes some money to Dan Scott. (Ahh you see where this is going) Elsewhere, Mouth McFadden has a plan to search for a big news in order to bring chaos around the town. Meanwhile, Lucas has his own club, and Dan tries to have a relationship with Haley.

The episode features some of the recurring cast, such as Joe Manganiello, Austin Nichols, Vaughn Wilson, and Cullen Moss.

Mark it on your calendar.

Update 1:20PM: Here's the first 8 minutes of next week's episode. Spoil yourself silly.
One Tree Hill 6.11 Opening scene

Now no doubt Austin's been to Casablanca - and if Jake's and he's..... that makes her? Captain Renault??? of Signor Ferrari? Cause she's no Ilsa. Need to round up the usual suspects?

I remember every detail..... wore gray you wore blue.

and... Have or Have Not?

You know you don't have to act with me, ..... You don't have to say anything, and you don't have to do anything. Not a thing. Oh, maybe just whistle. You know how to whistle, don't you, ....? You just put your lips together and... blow.

To those who served in peace time and in war - Thank you.

Sigh. What a great song today. Remembering our veterans today too. :)

I did watch OTH - Austin has me stumped as to what his game is. He has a nice voice - I hadn't noticed before. I like Brooke's storyline as well, adopting the teenage girl.

Next week's looks like fun - I did see Austin in the fedora. :)

And of course, our favorite couple's pics are always nice to see.

I agree aobut Austin's voice, it's one of the first things I noticed about him.

I can't believe I missed Austin in the fedora. He is really going to be rocking those 40s styles next week.

God you love movies. Sneaking in Casablanca and To Have or Have Not quotes. Now I'm going think of Reese as Victor Lazslo. That's just insane. You're nuts. Mark, Rick or Steve. LOL!

Fantastic music. Must confess I dozed off during OTH last night. Too much drivel, not enough Austin. I have it recorded so will rewatch tonight. Next weeks episode looks like lots of fun though.

I don't watch Olbermann but read the text of his comments on the web this AM. Posted in several places. Very moving. I think part of the problem with no on 8 was that it was missing a spokesperson, someone charismatic and articulate to lead the charge. I wonder if someone will emerge in this role as this becomes a national issue.

On Awful Truth today.

Josh Brolin on Prop 8

"As a couple," replied Josh, "if you're happy and not hurting anyone else, what's the problem? I have no connection with the Mormon Church. I feel extremely bad for the gay community, and I feel worse that somebody who knows discrimination better than anybody—African-Americans and Latinos—feel that the gay community is not a part of that, that it's not a civil rights issue. It is."

"They like gay marriage in England. It's a progressive country."

—Brit-born Gavin Rossdale, hubby to gay icon Gwen Stefani, talking up how all this Prop 8 hate would go over across the pond. Oh, really?

Today's song is a favorite of mine. It has a smokey sultriness to it that goes well with both film noir and also our favorite twosome.

Cheating a few minutes online here to say hey and I got home late last night. What a fun time in class - all we did for 1 1/2 hrs was look at early art from 500-600 B.C. - mozaics, sculpture, etc. The sculptures & the paintings didn't use much color back then because they didn't know much yet about making the colors. So, so fun. And this lady in our class - she's been to so many places overseas. She brought a photobook with pictures of art in cathedrals over in Poland, Czech. & Sweden where she went this past summer. It was fascinating. Before I knew it, it was past time for class to be over! I love studying paintings and trying to figure out what the artist was trying to convey. My brother taught art in H.S. for I don't know how many years and I never paid attention. But last year under the teaching of these 2 guys, I had an "awakening" and really developed an interest in paintings. Never paid an ounce of attention before; it's so exhilarating to be turned onto something new.

Anyway, enough of that. I did tape OTH and started watching it last night but didn't finish. Not enough Austin. Not near enough. They focused alot on the singing of that girl. I'm not sure which one is Sophia Bush. Is she the one Austin (Julian) was talking to backstage? It'll take me a little bit to get a grasp, but all I know is Austin is nothing but hot in this show. Wow. He has got alot of badboy aura to him - I think that's where he could be good.

I read a little bit about what Keith Olberman (sp) said and was really impressed. I ran out of time to finish it (was a little longwinded!) but what I read was very, very articulate & well said. And claps for Josh Brolin. Funny how there's more reaction now to the overturning of samesex marriage in California than there was prior to the election. I think this is far from over. It's going to be a long process, but the wheels & the gears are definitely turning now.

Must confess I dozed off during OTH last night. Too much drivel, not enough Austin.

Lol, m. No, m, this is what happens to people our age! We start nodding off @ 2030!

Everyone have a nice afternoon & talk to y'all later.

Soon on my way out to class. I had just gotten on here & was perusing a bit. Jennifer Aniston is going to be on the cover of the December issue of Vogue. She makes a few comments about Angelina Jolie that will make the airwaves & printed press for a few days. I really like Jennifer Aniston. She has an air of class about her. Even when she is criticizing a few of those things Angelina said not too long ago, she still comes out smelling like a rose.

Then, unlike Mzzz Witherspoon's words on her "beau", Jennifer mustered up a few more detailed and realistic words about John Mayer and where they are at in their relationship. Actually, I'm surprised she said what she did. Heck, and they've not been "together" as long as Reese & Jake have. All Reese came up with was "He's very supportive." I'll be curious to see how her article reads as compared to the big Paris ta-do. Real saucy cover, although her face looks a little different, can't figure out what it is. But I don't think I've ever seen Jennifer A. take an off picture. She always looks fantastic.

There wasn't a lot of Austin last night to be sure but its good to know that he is going to be in the next two episodes. It looks like Nov 24th will be a bit a of a mini cliff hanger. Now will bad boy Julian have anything to do with that?

Did anyone watch the new link I posted of the first 8 minutes of next weeks show? Can we just call him Big Juli from now on.

In that ensemble he could walk right into Guy and Dolls and never miss a step. Hmmm hmmm hmmmm

Sorry I haven't posted a lot. In addition to work and all the fun here at OMG. I am in charge of the church's Christmas fair which is Sat. Just was working on set up for that last 7 hours.

Did you know that just after 3 week on OTH, there is already over 25 Julian/Peyton videos on You Tube? And they are being called Juton or Julton?

You wonder if we're gonna see Julian in Season 7.

destiny said...

Long day, so I haven't had a chance to check out the OTH clip yet. I can't believe there are so many clips of Juton. They need a better name though.

Peyton and Julian = Peylian. Sounds like Paleolithic era of first stone tools. Stones, tools, hard as a rock ready to roll = Austin

I really love this song. Even though its slow it puts me in a great mood.

Love that hat on Austin. Very cool.

Here's what Mr. C revealed exclusively to the Awful Truth:

"At some point in our lifetime, gay marriage won't be an issue, and everyone who stood against this civil right will look as outdated as George Wallace standing on the school steps keeping James Hood from entering the University of Alabama because he was black."

Couldn't have said it better, George, well done.

Jake, I guess is still playing in his sandbox....
