Winter Blitz

Not only will One Tree Hill be back in January with new episodes and maybe will we see this different side of Julian, little more heart and less di.. I mean producer, Prayers for Bobby is now on the schedule for Lifetime, on January 24th. Then The Informers in February. It looks like it's an Austin Winter. What will the spring bring? Maybe "springtime in Paris" oops make that Cannes?

And the last day for OTH to film before taking their holiday break - December 19th. Why does that date sound familar. ; )

Kind of funny to have an Austin winter since I associate him with summer and warm weather--JFC, Texas, USC.

Regarding Hammer's comment in the previous thread, most stars have personal assistants. Do you even know if Ricky's assistant is a woman or man? And if it's a man, is there any gossip the way there is about Jackman and his "business partner"? I haven't heard anything, but if there is I'd love to know what you've read and where.

I'm all for people living honestly, and coming out, but I am not a fan of big announcements. You don't see magazine covers with the headline "I'm straight".

I used to hold It blindly to my chest without having read the entire thing, which I still hold it to me dearly, but through the help of some recent class discussions, have learned that it is open to interpretation and not everything is black & white.

PG, my Mrs. started seminary a few months ago. The first thing the students were told on the first day of class was that if you had a literal interpretation of the Bible, things were going to be very, very tough for you.

Heath was nominated for A Golden Globe for his role as the Joker in "The Dark Knight", the only nomination the film received.

Sean Penn was nominated for his role in "Milk", also the film's only nomination.

Just read on ONTD that The Dark Knight sold 600,000 Blu Ray and 3million regular format DVDs first day. I have no idea how to check that for accuaracy but I assume it's correct. Good job, Heath.

Looking forward to winter (not my favorite season as I hate the cold)now, with so much Austin to look forward to. What a coincidence that his work schedule frees up right around the time Jake's does. I wonder if Austin will be doing any promo appearances on TV or mags.

Wow Austin in early 2009 has a TV show series, TV movie and a film. And Jake has.. 2 in the can that might get panned and canned and never shown and then something coming out in 2010, along with a longterm running beard gig and instant public recognition as being Academy Award winning 3rd highest paid Hollywood actress divorced mother of two Reese Witherspoon's boyfriend. Wow I'm impressed..with Austin.

Anonymous said...

Yea m isn't it great Austin will be able to attend the birthday party Reese is giving Jake!

Anonymous said...

11:27am, ITA. As someone on WFT2 said, Jake has become Mr. Witherspoon. He used to be Jake Gyllenhall, Academy Award nominee for BBM. Now he's Jake Gyllenhall, Academy Award winner Reese Witherspoon's devoted boyfriend. Wonder if when he signed the contract for Reeke he realized that he wanted to be Mr. Straight Man, but that Reeke would really be all about Reese. Somehow over the past year, Reeke's PR has managed to neuter Jake. 2yrs of bearding with Reese and they still have gay rumors surrounding him and fake romance doubts about the both of them. Reeke doesn't seem to be working that well. Instead of looking forward to another year of Reeke, wish Santa would give us an early present and have Reeke pull the plug.

Great news about Austin - very much looking forward to Prayers for Bobby.

Wow PG, Wings was one of my fave shows too - Lowell was the best. Love Thomas Hayden Church.

So glad to hear about Heath's nomination for The Joker. I second that, M, good job Heath. G*d I miss him. There was a picture of him and a mention of his nomination when I signed on, and I felt a pang in my heart. He's so beautiful. I hope he wins.

I agree, time for this Best Supporting Actor gig to end - enough already!

I apologize Chris.

Chris at 11:27 I won't hold my breath of Austin coming to Jake's party that Reese gives, the guestlist will be interesting though. Chris you seem to be really bothered and upset with what's happening in Jakes life.
(If) it upsets you that much, maybe you should quit Jake and focus on someone else you hold high regards for. Afterall, it is his LIFE!

Hey guys!!

Chris, maybe you better think about registering your name, get a patent on that thing. I'd hate to learn a new name for you, lol. That kinda did sound like you, tho. Had me fooled.

Oh, Wicked, yeah, what I have learned. It's all about being open and heck, even the Good Book itself was recounts written not "live" but years later. I admit, I used to be pretty rigid, but it's been a real journey these last several years. And you know the great thing? As human beings, we are always learning. We can be 102 years old and still learning. That's pretty awesome.

I am making note of Jan 24. I always need to learn where Lifetime is on cable as I hardly ever have watched that channel; always just stumble upon it while doing the ol' scroll upppppp....and dowwwwnnnnnn...you know how some people are with the remote. Gotta start @ Ch. 3 and go all the way up and through all the channels to see what's on. lol.

netb, wasn't Wings funny? I especially liked it the first several years. When Lowell's character left, it wasn't quite as funny, although I still watched it. Remember that old man who would ride on the plane sometimes, I can't remember his name. He always looked near death and he was a chronic complainer. He drove Helen, Joe, Brian, & Antonio crazy!

I am so glad to hear, too, that Heath is nominated for Best Supporting Actor in the Golden Globes. I will be rooting for him all the way. m, he was beautiful. I have downloaded so many pictures of him; he was really very photogenic. And some of the last pictures of him, where he was posing not when he was caught by the paps, even as he had gotten older looking, he was as handsome as a man can be, with character etched in his face. I've watched The Brothers Grimm & A Knight's Tale now I don't know how many times and every time I see something new that he did with his character. Have you seen The Brothers Grimm? What he did with that character Jacob, adding so many twitches & nervous gestures, and his facial expressions were endless. Watch him constantly push up his glasses with his ring finger and it will crack you up.

Sorry, I got carried away there with Heath. Man, don't get me started. I wish I could be talking about Jake's acting career like that - instead we have to make do with his acting with Avonlady. What kind of a deal is that? C'mon buddy, give us something else to talk about!!

Okay, going back to work. Nice to get a brief respite.

Crime Writer Patricia Cornwell Speaks Up About Her Same-Sex Marriage

Wildly popular crime writer Patricia Cornwell, the author of 25 books, who was outed in the mid-90's after her affair with the wife of an FBI agent was revealed, is now married to another woman, lives in Massachusetts, and has decided it's time for her to speak out about marriage equality.

She tells Reuters:

"At my age, I have been around a while now and I am less uncomfortable with those sorts of revelations than I used to be. Maybe it is a function of getting older but I think it is important to stand up and be counted. When you're not in a relationship your sexual orientation is more theoretical but it becomes more real when you are with somebody and you are not going to hide that. If people like me don't take a stand then it will only get worse. We just want to live and let live and be treated in the same way straight people are treated. It is no longer theoretical when you have people voting against what you believe is your right, making it illegal, when one of the best things about me is the person I am with. This applies to me and it is frightening."

Probably not coincidentally, Cornwell also has a new book coming out in her 'Kay Scarpetta' series entitled Scarpetta. Reuters notes: "Her character Scarpetta's niece Lucy is a lesbian who ends up in a relationship with a female prosecutor, a public figure, who has to decide how open she wants to be about her personal life."

Many are deeply bothered, upset, and saddened to see an actor whose presence was once described as "quicksilver" - and experienced as confident, loving, joyful and gifted, go dead in the water and become a tool of H'wood hype.

Why are you handing out advice, anyway?

Yea the party that was the NY Post story a few days ago, remember? The party that we made fun of and don't believe for a second? Have you ever heard of being facetious? You have bad memories or lost your sense of humor.

Chris you seem to be really bothered and upset with what's happening in Jakes life.

Uh..no. Discussing, joking, anaylyzing, have opinions of, have likes/dislikes, yea. "Bothered" and "upset"?? Yea riiight.... Let me go get my electroshock therapy because I'm so upset over Jake and oh my god what he's doing bothers me so much I can't function in my life and I gotta quit him and find someone else to worship..yea riiight. I come here and like evryone else I talk about the blog topics, I have opinions about the blog topics and I have fun. Give me a fucking break with the I-know-all-about-chris attitude.

Sweet sweet Prairie Girl, I took your advice. Actually i got a blogger account 2 months ago but forgot the password LOL and put off getting it fixed but you talked me into doing a replacement. Btw what did you mean "That kinda did sound like you, tho. Had me fooled." I wrote 11:27, 11:33 and 11:49.

"Missing Jake" apology accepted. Maybe your used to sites where peeps can't think up 1 lousy word for a fricken name and so everyone checks the "Anonymous" box and goes by timestamps. [btw I went to WFT once and couldn't stand it for that reason] but it isn't like that here thank god. Saying the timestamp and not the name is like calling out "hey you" to people in real life. Not cool. But hey you learn something every day and this was yours. Don't you wish all life's daily lessons were all this easy?

Okay that was a book I just wrote. Hmm maybe I should look up Julian. Okay I'm off to learn something new today, hope its an easy one.

prairiegirl said...

mr Chris!! 11:27 sounded like you. And it was you!! I thought you were saying 1127 wasn't you. ooooh. my head's woozy now after saying that. I'm glad I don't have to learn a new name for you - that would've been sad.

I'm trying to get out of work now & still get my walk in. 40 some degrees - yippee!

Wicked, I'll work on an email to you, how's that? Ol' ms. rigid here - well, I'm still kinda uptight, but the elastic gives a little more now, lol!

Talk to y'all later - I'm off to go have a good walk after a 2-day hiatus.

Why are you handing out advice, anyway?

because I can, and will as long as it's respectful. Plenty of posters do it here often. And I was not condeming or judging him. Just that his tone often sounds (deeply) upset with Jake's situation or what seems to be Jakes situation. I would jump for joy if Jake came out today, but I must say that I would have mixed feelings about it. There would be pluses and minuses for the guy. This is my opionion

Anonymous said...

Give me a fucking break with the I-know-all-about-chris attitude.

Well Chris I was stating my opinion also. Did not mean any harm though. But you can take that same advice you are giving while looking in the MIRROR!

I Never post as I know it all about someone, but you don't miss a beat when it comes to knowing all about Jake. And any reader can feel you disgust although most may not speak on it. TRUTH

Sorry, opionion = opinion

I had to make a correction where I thought I had corrected myself, but apparently didn't. I meant my Heath comment/reply to you, netb! You were talking about him & his "aura" and I had to agree. Sorry about that!

Okay, ducking back out between the crossfire. Lol, Chris, you know how to stir it up, don'tcha? I was excited to see the little "b" beside your name. I know all about password losses. I have so many stinkin' logon id's and passwords between work and RL that I have to keep them written down somewhere to reference back to. It's ridiculous. At work, I have 5 different logons & passwords alone that I use everyday. crazy, not to mention mindspinning.

chris said...

Okay, well, it's been quite the night. Playing on my blog and emailing Wicked. And The Year Without a Santa Claus was on tonight. Heat Miser & Snow Miser!
I'm Mr. Heat Miser, I'm Mr. 101. LOL! I love that song ! Friends call me Heat Miser, whatever I touch, seems to melt in my clutch! I'm too much!

Probably shouldn't have been on the computer quite so much tonight. The one good thing about being so absorbed these past couple of weeks & away from my laptop is my elbow has been feeling alot better. Laptop elbow, not a good thing.

Well, time to hit the hay. Everyone have a great night's sleep and wooohoo, tomorrow's Friday! Wicked, when you get a chance, check the email - I sent War & Peace. LOL! Naw, I wouldn't do that. jus' kidding.

If you need to feel rejuvenated about your workspace, click on my blogger name and check out my pics of my Christmas toys that I have on my desk every year. Plus a carton of my yogurt lunch today. lol. Trust me, you'll probably feel a heckuva whole lot better about your workspace. Not to mention whatever you had for lunch today.

Prairie Girl, what a coincidence. I just recorded Brothers Grimm last night. I tried to watch it a year or so ago, but just could not get into it. Noticed it while scrolling the TV menu last night and hit record. It may take me a while to getting around to watching it though. Heath was a beautiful man. All man and terribly sexy.

Just saying, I know people don't like you around here and they will soon start calling you a babbler as they will with me, I am sure. But I agree with you. And obviously, you seem to be the one stirring things up, considering how defensive people are getting... LOL

Toothy Tile Returns in...One Signed-Sex Blind Vice!

Today 6:37 AM PST by Ted Casablanca
Blind Vice, Awful Truth

Another one bites the romantic dust. Sure, it's no secret that lots of Hollywood movie stars require confidentiality contracts—from their house cleaners, their assistants, their cooks and, yes, sometimes, even their lovers. We've mentioned this before.

Heartless as it may seem, some folks can't even get close to getting off unless they feel they'll be protected from any morning-after spills to the tabloids, thanks to whichever partner they happened to hook up with. Not really such the shocker there, once you think about it. But what's truly unusual is who we're told has now used this cold-as-ice, fine-print safeguard, you'll never guess...

Yes, it's our very own beloved closet cutie, Toothy Tile!

Love it, he's not so dumb after all, eh? I remember Toothy back from when he was getting it on in West Hollywood parking lots, for any cop to see. In fact one did see, but, of course, the Tooth got off, thanks to his powerful reps—sheesh, so predictable. But now comes word that Toothy's not only stepping out on the B.F. (unless this was done with his approval, perchance?), but he's doing it smartly, like, every other bigass, closeted dude in town does—contracts to sign, in hand.

Nice one, Tooth! The publicist-powered group you hang with nowadays musta taught you a thing or two, eh?

Oh, and you want the dirt from the guy who took his very own confidentiality agreement in hand and spilled the deets just the same? It was all lovely, we're told...the kind of loveliness that grows on ya, if you catch my naughty drift.

Oh, and that Toothy has something in common with Ryan Gosling: Such a cool demeanor, you'd have no idea the fire burning down below. None.

It Ain't: Ryan Gosling, Shia LaBeouf, John Krasinski

chris said...

Help! I can't figure out what naughty act he means "the kind of loveliness that grows on ya" and I usually know them all.

And yea Austin, if you didn't know about this and especialy if theres a BT, dump his ass and write that book.

Anonymous said...

I think we're talking hand-jobs here as opposed to the full monty.
Still cheating for some people. Not a deal-breaker for others.

Anonymous said...

Why are you handing out advice, anyway?
because I can, and will as long as it's respectful.

Please keep those opinions for yourself.

prairiegirl said...

Cheating is cheating, far as I'm concerned. Brother. There's no good aura right now going on about Jake seems like.

And this is why so many Hollywood marriages/relationships break up. Because when they start spending so much time apart, they all start falling for their leading ladies/men and they can't remain faithful. Hollywood relationships rarely make it. The ones that do seem to get out of the Hollywood atmosphere.

Sounds like Ted got a new source. We could be privy to new revalations now. And not good ones, either by the sounds of it.

m, the first time I watched Brothers Grimm I had a really hard time with it at first. But I finished watching it and it took the second & third time to get the gist of the whole story. But I never got over Heath's mannerisms in that movie. He was a nerd in this character! It was brilliant. And I absolutely love the story - I love the dreamer in his character, Jacob, the innocence of him. This has become one of my favorite movies - I love it.

Wow, I'm dumbfounded by Ted's piece. Tho, somehow I'm not/shouldn't be surprised. Especially when it comes to Hollywood. Even if he & Austin have hooked up now & then, he's been out of the country for far too long and if he doesn't have any kind of inner strength, it was bound to happen.

But with a BT? What the heck there? Oh, brother, I don't even want to think about that part. Think I'll want to be sick.

Special K said...

Just saying before I start - this are comments and thoughts of my own, and I'm not saying they're right or wrong just saying what I thinking at the moment. And everyone should read the B.V on their own and think about it and figure out what they think.

None.

That grows on you - well you know what grows -

And there's no fire burning down below - not a hard tooth?

It all makes sound like it was hand thing - because Ted dropped in hand like how many time? And that the other was one who got the hand.

unless this was done with his approval, perchance?

You wonder if it was, with his approval. You wonder if there is an some type agreement about being on location. That's between them. Might not be your cup of tea, but it might be theirs. And that's why it's hands only.

A couple other things - there is no date on this you don't know how recently - like this past month, or the fall or just sometime during the shoot, or the whole thing is over and settled between Toothy and Goose.

Ted has not said that the Tooth and Goose are over - because he did call Goose the B.F. He also did not tell the Goose to leave Toothy (will he?).

Now who would have a confidentially agree in hand like Toothy would ?

Anonymous said...

"And that the other was one who got the hand."

..from the guy who took his very own confidentiality agreement in hand and spilled the deets just the same?

Good point. The other guy took HIS OWN in hand.
Toothy couldn't get it up? Or couldn't come?
If you're feeling guilty or conflicted it can be difficult.
What are the rumors about Ryan G?

Anonymous said...

Why make someone sign a contract if you're not into it?

Good morning, Special! I'm going to be going sort of nuts at work this morning because I'm going to miss out on the discussion of this latest BV. Going to kill me.

I just see "stepping out" and well, it sounds like, well - stepping out. But I'll study your insight hopefully at lunch time. It is early in the am, after all. Mind's still fuzzy. And I am one to leap off the dock all the time!

Gotta go brush the teeth & get goin'. Can't wait to hear what everyone has to say about this.

Have a great Austin Friday, everyone!

Hmm. Ted's new Toothy BI reminds me of the item that came out about a month ago on Frisky.com about how Jake was recently busted by Reese for getting it on with another man. I believed that and wondered if it was someone on the PoP set. That shoot has been going on for a long while now...

Wonder if it's a stunt person or an actor. I bet he's hot. But Ted's item makes it seems Jake is messing around with a bunch of guys.
