Walk like an Egyptian

Jake popping in Fred Leighton and in Egypt? It sounds like he is practicing his former co-star Hayden's role in Jumpers. Is that script supervisor job available again? Or Does Doug Liman want to make a Jumpers on the Moon and call it "Moon Bounce"? Jake would have to go on a solo mission, cause if you saw a movie around Christmas time, the Bounce Bounce is not someone's favorite. ; )

And in these times of recession and thinking greener and leaner why waste money and make a huge carbon foot print going all the way to Egypt, when you go to Vegas by hybrid and boost the economy and save the environment a little? You can stay in a pyramid at the Luxor. And there are cameras (ok sercurity cameras) everywhere. Wait that might be the too much. Then again - you can do Venice and New York at the same time. Talk about a whirlwind - and it totally time efficient for those check lists.

And being close to home maybe there is time for a like wild (turkey) goose chase... cause you know what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, well unless your publicist calls ahead.

Yeah you can dance but can you walk the walk Jake?

Evolution of Dance ( Egyptian Edition)
A little less locomotion but walking in the right direction.

Less Fosse more Suzanne Hoff - hand higher and use those eyes to sell it big guy.

Clearly more Goose than Tut. But you got the point down.

The head action is more back and forth and not so side to sign. This is just a little too Kattan even for a Night at the Roxbury

Lose the hat and the horse and add right hand from your goose on SNL and you got it.

OK Magazine

From Earring to Ring - hmmmmm now this sounds like OK! is competing with US Weekly. (Oh Janice what will you do?)

Or Fred Leighton's is not going to have as much as bling on the Red Carpet on Sunday and needs the extra press.

Or you know .... some one didn't read the memo correctly from the office. See this is why you need a script supervisor - continuity people, continuity.

The Six Degrees of Jake and Walk Like an Egyptian: Peformed by the Bangles. The Bangles version of Hazy Shade of Winter was used in the movie Less than Zero. Less than Zero was based on a book by Bret Easton Ellis. BEE wrote the book and screenplay for the Infomers. Austin is in the Informers.

Awesome news and it sounds like its great initiative.

Jake looks good. Relaxed and rested. Amazing when everyone is home together. ; )

Wow, what a sight for sore eyes. Jake has not looked that good in years . No beard, perfect haircut, form-fitting clothes, and looking his age for a change.

Thanks for the articles today Wicked. I especially enjoyed the Valenti article. It never ceases to amaze me how many gay men oppress gay people, and they're still doing it today, including politicians and TPTB in HW. What really surprised me was Johnson's involvement in that. After reading that it was nice to read the one about the drag queen homecoming queen.

Forgot to add that it is nice to see Jake doing something besides shopping and drinking coffee.

I agree Jake looks great. Relaxed and smiling. I'm glad he's taking on something serious and we didn't get the usual silly photo op. Really hope this continues.

Hi guys! Guess that's like a Green/Earth Day? That's great! I love it. Visiting and doing some hands-on, hmm, whatever that it is he's doing, mulching maybe? And yes, indeed, he looks his age. There is no doubt that is time worthwhile spent on his behalf and I think that is really great. Green is the word these days, isn't it? Wonderful surprise to come home to.

Wasn't home for long after another lovely walk, had to pack my bag to get ready to leave tomorrow after work, wrap my nephew's present, eat some Chick Fil A, and rush off to class. After class, I was like a bullet out to my car as I had 25 minutes to get to Penney's, exchange my shoes. My church is strategically located off a highway to get to I-35 and I was zzzzttttt! there at Penney's, grabbed my replacement shoes, and she said "Oh, we're open til 9:30!" And I deflated. Oh. Shoot, well then, I didn't have to rush the pastor along then, putting on my coat, pulling out my keys, closing my Book, ahem, and acting like I kinda had to get somewhere.
We were like 7 minutes over, tho.

Stop to fill up & home! And it's doggone time to go to bed.If that just don't beat all.

It'll be off tomorrow, although I don't know that I look for my folks to make the trip as Dad had his 3rd chemo today and they had to drain some more fluid from that lung. He said this time it kind of hurt. Last time, he just had fluid drained, no treatment. I'm thankful he's done as well as he has up to this point. He's had fatigue lately, but not some of the other unpleasant side effects. It'd be the first kids' birthday they'd miss and that's counting all, let's see 18 of them.

I'll have to see if I can hook up somewhere there in the Big W. Chick Fil A now has Wi Fi. Kudos to the Chickster for getting in the swing of things and offering it for their customers. That is where the future is and they're right on it.

Well, I'm babbling again & saying nothing. Everyone have a great evening and sweet dreams to ya.

NE, still looking for you!!!!

Nice to see Jake looking so good, alone and doing something constructive for a change. Is it a coincidence that Austin has finished filming and is probably home.

I would like!

Jake is handsome on these pics and for sure seems happy to be there!

Jake is looking really good in these pictures. It's amazing that he is at work in them yet looks more at ease than he does during his so-called private time with Reese.

Love it! Tell your dad there is a whole blog of people who are keeping him in their thoughts and prayers.

Get the record, The Crying Light. I think this is Antony's most cohesive and solid record to date. They were great on Letterman too. They did Aeon. Dave said, "Let's welcome back Antony and the Johnsons," so I guess they've been on before. So glad that this band is getting seen.

Hi PG and all!

Still here, and keeping up with the posts. Just taking a little break. Thank you for asking, you're a sweetheart. Hope you're doing ok too.

Great and fun post today - I love Egypt. :) Nice pics of Jake and a great cause.

I have to add my love for yesterday's Antony and the Johnsons song too. Didn't get to see them on Letterman, unfortunately.
