PG, I am a long time poster, My first site ever was WFT then I came to this one. I became a fan of Jake after BBM. I thought the movie was outstanding, and Jake touched my heart. I am an "older" gay women, who because of my career choice chose to stay in the closet for many years. Now that I am retired it has become much easier to be who I am. In fact I was able to retire early because my partner's employer was able to provide health care coverage for me. wow this my longest post ever. This site has been a godsend for me and I appreciate eveyone here. thanks.

Some truly awful photos of Reese on justjared. I think she pissed off the paps along the way. I normally avoid her pictures, but these were so bad I could not help myself. I probably set myself up for some bad karma today.

Well I just got back from the seeing the doctor. Just waht I expected two severly sprained wrists and thumbs. Doc expects them to be painful for 2 to 4 more weeks. I do need an xray just to ro fx but he expects them to be normal. Got a note for work and hopefully I will be able to go back Monday. It sure would have been really tough for me to work like this. Well I got to run to make that appt.
Man I could sure use a J and A pic this week.

In my excitement I forgot to say I'm glad it's just a sprain and not something worse Tom. Although getting over a sprain in a digit is no fun.

Love how they coordinate
The shirts, how Jake's got the light colored shoes and clear water bottles, Austin the dark shoes, the black lids on the water bottles. And they have both of them filled so it doesn't look like a walk around the bike with the bikes with these two.
And love the picture of them both together,making it look its one bike but with three wheels (an not in a trike kind of way). And how Austin's looking for the oncoming traffic while Jake is looking forward waiting for Austin to let him know if its ok to go.
And those gates why do I want to say they were out near Griffith Park again? Can anyone from LA area help with that?

Just popped in at work for a quick peek and what do I find. Our boys together! I am on cloud nine. They look so good together. Every pore in Jake's face relaxes when he is with Austin. Must be the good sex.

It seems that we quite often get pictures of them together at this time of year (except for last year). Maybe it's a special time of year for them.
It's a shame that Austin is only in one of the pictures, hopefully some more from the set with him in will be released.

Look at how close their bikes are. Austin could sit on Jake's seat if he didn't have handle bars and you look down at their feet you can see it even more. If Jake stepped down he would be stepping on Austin's foot.

Wicked - I think its for the fans. Like I agreed with H, they have done things like this in the past and wonder if it had something to do with the dates in the history Toothy.
And I think that they wanted to make sure Easter wasn't turned into another story about Jake spending time with Reese and her family.
From the spin job that's working on PopSugar putting a picture of Reese working out by herself and picture of Jake on the bike and writing to sound like they were working out together. And the mention of Reese on JJ - two very very pro PR friendly websites. It sound like the bike trip was not PR approved and they are now trying to repackage it that it is and quick.

Someone said the gloves were hot - I agree. I like those things. Never been a fan of spandex, but on these 2, they make it work. Austin's sideview is outstanding. Dang. May have to create a new desktop pic.

PG... we need to meet in chat sometime with some others and have a good old chat. I've been Seaweed for at least 10 yrs now at various chats and blogs, the name has special significance as I've lived about 75feet from the Atlantic for most of the last 15 years up here in Nova Scotia. The BBM soundtrack has remained a staple in my CD collection for almost 4 years now. I managed to download all of the pieces of Rodriego's compositions to my computer. I have a 5 disc CD player on continually and the Soundtrack CD is never out of the player. And as Special said, thanks so much for asking that question of us all yesterday.
Destiny, dealing with the tragic ending which was such an integral part of Annie Proulx's story was very difficult for me. Believe it or not my search for a happier ending led me to some slash. I believe it was by MaineWriter who was a resident at Bettermost and she wrote an alternate universe story called "A love born of steel" and a follow up called "Through the veil of time". I highly recommend them both and would be glad to provide you with a link if you can't find them. My hopes for a better ending also led me to a belief that Jake and Austin were the real thing. My exposure to Ted's Toothy Tile saga via WFT was one of the main reasons for this.
M... I carried my 14 BBM ticket stubs around with me for at least a year or so, now I still carry one, from my last viewing with me, stuffed in with some other odds and ends in my pants pocket.
Well, that's another bit of a lengthy story so thanks for your indulgence people. Stubborn... I totally agree with your "Grin Assessment" Nothing but nothing looks better on Jake than that Austin Grin, ... except maybe Austin!

One only has to look at IHJ pics of Jake with Austin, vs pics that follow with Reese to see the remarkable contrast. A happy man vs a man under deep stress.
Elinor, I gave up trying to talk to live friends about my Jake, Austin, BBM obsession. That's what OMG is for. WFT2 too, to some extent, but with so many anons, it's not quite the same. I'm glad I have you guys to share this happy occasion with.
Forgot to mention, I've been reading comments on sites as the Jake/Austin pics show up. Many are about how hot and handsome Austin is, what a cute couple they make and come out already Jake. Austin is much better known post OTH and he is aging well.

You are in the land of Anne of Green Gables. Seems like I have seen pictures of Nova Scotia and it is a beautiful looking place. You are surrounded by water, aren't you? What kind of weather do you get there? Hurricanes don't reach you, do they?
And you sure are a fan of the BBM music. I love that soundtrack. There's a song on there, it's a country tune. Real mournful sounding. Something about "I don't want to say goodbye", know which one I'm talking about? I wonder where in the movie they play that? Is it when Ennis is dancing with Cassie? It's such a sad song, but I like it.
I think Seaweed is a great name - I love it. It's got alot of character to it. I live in the Sunflower state of Kansas, Seaweed, just south of Kansas City about 1/2 hr. I've lived in this area my whole life.

Well, it's been a great day. Good day at work. Very nice time at dinner tonight - eating at the ollllll' Lonestar Steakhouse. I had grilled salmon with rice & asparagus. I got to meet someone from our corporate office that I have talked to & emailed with alot for the last couple of years. It was so great to put a face with the voice.
Well, I'm going to need to turn in. I sure hope OTH wasn't on tonight. Brother.

I had a long period of grief after seeing the movie and did get some comfort from the alternate story put forward by MaineWriter, this alone took some of the sting out of my sadness but it really was the discovery of Jake and Austin that captured my imagination and gave me more hope for the future. I still respect Annie's writing and her wonderful short story for the absolute wonder that it really is, and for what Ang Lee and the others did with this heart wrenching story of love.
OTH was a repeat, but it was the one I recorded but hadn't watched yet, with the airport scene. Austin was incredible in that scene, Sophia was good too. I can't believe I'm saying this, but I actually got a little choked up over that scene.

She's right, I meant that they wanted to show the fans that they spent Easter together.
Sienata, Flynet is the paparazzi agency on Reeke’s payroll and speed dial. From the very beginning, every time they stage a photo op (even in remote places where there are no paparazzi at all), Flynet always has the "exclusive". What we see is what PR arranges for us to see. Flynet serves many purposes. For example, sometimes they change dates of the pics to fit an agenda and make believe they are in one place when in fact they are in another one. Other pics are suspiciously cut or release in a way that leaves out of the frame certain people that PR doesn’t want us to see. Reeke’s PR and Flynet have a deal for sure.

flynet, that's just your interpretation of it, nothing more. No point lecturing Sienata se got as much insider info as you do after all.
there was a third person biking with them, btw. which is likely the person both Jake and Austin are looking at in the some of the pics, the ones where supposedly Jake is looking out for Austin and so much love in his eyes and all that bs. Slow down your silly fantasies, folks!

IHJ has more biking pics but in the new ones neither of them have the undersuit on. Where was the damn pap when they changed in front of the other! Besides the light/haze being different, these newer pics might be from a different day because neither have the long sleeved shirt on underneath and especially because Austin isn't wearing the black bike pants under his black bike shorts like he is in the older pics. You can take off the shirts at a stop but pants are more difficult! :o Even if Austin's pants and shorts combo was the same I'd still question the day/timing since the shirts obviously won't fit into the tiny under-the-seat carry packs and it doesn't look like the shirts are wrapped and tied around their waists.
I'm in LA and going by the light/haze I would guesstimate the older, sunnier clearer pics are either Thurs, Sat or Sun, and the newer hazy ones are Fri or Mon. Also Jake's legs look tanner in the older pics so who knows. But the wardrobe change is suspicious, I think someone wants it to look like this was 1 bike outing when it was really 2. You know, a casual monthly get together when Reese is too busy to be with Jake, not a regular 3x/week routine that Jake and Austin have.

Not sure about a 3rd person with them. Yes another person is in a couple of the pics but he is on the outside edge of the lane and awfully close in proximity to Austin (who is trying to move over to the right) which makes me believe he was in the process of passing. Jake and Austin have a decent distance between them which is how it should be, and if there was a third member then s/he too would maintain the same distance behind the 2nd member. That 3rd person in the pics is just too close IMO to be a part of their group, more likely was a frustrated solo rider passing the 2 idiots who for some reason were slowing down traffic, lol.
