I sticking around for little bit longer.

What? I have to share a trailer?

Oh you want to share a trailer cause,
you like what you see?

Sorry I too break your heart sweetheart,
but my trailer will be a bit full.

It's all fun and games until someone gets hit in the eye.

What did I say?
Backgammon?
Or was it yelling Yatzee!

You know I make this shiner look good.

Now I'm going back to my trailer. ; )
And if the trailer is rocking well.... Yatzee!

Speaking of JFC, it was nice to see Bruce Greenwood in Star Trek too.

Taking inspiration from Meg with her charts and J.G.'s diary, I decided to look into some numbers of my own.

Number of tabloid covers Zachary Quinto has been on: 0

Number of days since arranged photo opp getting coffee with a beard: Doesn't have a bead, no coffee runs that I'm aware of

Current Star Meter rating on IMDB: No 2 (last week No. 3)

10 day box office: $143 million, $196 million including international box office

Total box office, domestic and international, for Sex and The City, starring, among others, Cynthia Nixon: $262 million

Total box office, domestic and international, for Four Christmases: $163 million

Highest IMDB Star Meter rank for Reese during 4Cs promotion: 27

Highest ranking for M v. A. 40, and dropping every week, 129 after Coachella, 157 after Maggie's wedding, 199 this week after the current round of stories

Jake's IMDB Star Meter ratings have bounced all over the place, mostly in the mid 180s to 220s range; the end of the week that included Coachella saw him go from 183 to 269, then back down the following week to the usual 180s range.

LOLLLLL! Uncle Wiggly!. Chutes & Ladders. Man, you are killin' me!!
How about a little Twister?

Very clever, Special, I enjoyed this one. As soon as I read the first intro, I thought immediately of that JFC set trailer visit Jake made back when and the boys weren't seen to emerge all day, lol. I'm having visions of that 4 yr reunion clench that Jack & Ennis had there in Riverton. If Jake & Austin had been separated for who knows how long at that time, I bet that trailer was a rockin' within minutes.

Dang. What a thought to have here at work. Didn't one of them sneak out once to go get food, Special? I'm trying to remember that story from TMZ. Or lunch was delivered or I can't remember exactly. Whatever it was, I'm sure it was probably packed with protein.

I saw some pictures from the Cannes Festival and Abby did look very pretty in her long, flowing gown. It was gorgeous, actually. She looks pretty young, I'll have to look up how old she is. Actually, Ryan looks pretty young still himself. Is he younger than Reese?

fyi said...

She's 26 he's 34.

prairiegirl said...

I like Bruce Greenwood, Destiny. I think he's nice looking. But I didn't like his character in JFC at all.

You know, lately here at work, we've been having episodes of people getting on the intercom and acting stupid. They make noises, say something totally incoherent, just really grade school stuff. Ever since I've been here, once in awhile, someone may get on there & wish someone else happy birthday or make a stupid noise, or hit the buttons on the phone so it blares out in everyone's ear. And usually it's the same person(s). But this stuff... good grief. And you know, these people are in their 40's. It's embarrassing to say I work with someone who gets on an intercom and blabs, "la lalal lalalal..." especially if you have outside visitors at the plant. Brother.

Boy, I'm glad we have the reminder about OneTreeHill being on tonight. And tonight starts the finals of DWTS. I have got to see OTH, though.

Thanks, fyi. Wow, she is young, isn't she? I really liked her gown and that simple white dress she had on. I've never seen any movie she's in.

Well, tomorrow night's T Shirt Tuesday and I'll be going to the Royals game. I really don't like going during the week because we don't get home until late. But we do always end up having a good time. I get more into the Ketchup, Relish & Mustard race, kisscam, and the lawnmower race than the game itself. That and people watching. I just love to peoplewatch.
Well, was just noticing the time and I think my lunch hour is over. Everyone have a great afternoon. We're having gorgeous weather here this week. It's a good thing we only have one window up here and at that, it's not visible to hardly any of us from our desks. Plus, it's like a prison window, it's narrow and you can pretty much only see straight ahead, that's it. It has a breathtaking view of alot of semis & tractor trailers. We're all locked up; all doors are locked around here. If I stay in for lunch, I can go all day without even knowing what kind of day it is out there or if the sun is even out.

Lol, does anyone want to accompany my violin playing with some cello or something? I'm not whining, really. I'm used to how it is here. All the machine noise. The clowns on the intercom.

destiny said...

The only "noise" I don't mind is music, so that would probably drive me crazy PG. And I agree, I think Abby is beaufiful, and she looked wonderful in that dress at Cannes. I like her because she isn't another one of those anorexic types.

From TMZ:

April 10, 2007

Jake was spotted in San Diego last week, visiting the set of HBO's pilot "John from Cincinnati," where his pal Austin Nichols plays the lead. Gyllenhaal arrived and was immediately escorted to Nichols' trailer, where they spent most of the day. Austin left the trailer only to grab some grub for the two from catering tables. This photo shows the best friends at a Lakers game in 2006.

Then, this past Saturday, TMZ spies spotted Jake and Austin in Los Angeles, having a quiet dinner at Jar restaurant. The two eluded having their pic taken by paparazzi when they escaped through the kitchen's backdoor. Reese Witherspoon, who has been romantically linked with Jake, was not present.

What is it about that week in April for Jake and Austin? There is something special about it?

A lot of the descriptions of the pictures of Jake and Deacon are out and being called Jake hangs with Little Reese (aka Deacon) on Twitter and some gossip sites.

Makes you feel bad for Deacon. But it does make Reese littler - I mean can you get smaller than a 5 yr. old?

April Sounds like a great time for a committment cermony. Wedding bands and everything.

lane said...

Tom, yes. Springtime, flowers, good month for vacation travel or perfect weather in LA, NY or MV. Most important April is after awards season. And guess what the birthstone for April is, its diamond, same as wedding rings. Odd too that the birthstone for December is turquoise. It always comes back to Austin....or is it Jake?!

prairiegirl said...

I bet everyone is watching One Tree Hill right now, huh? I'm taping it because my sister doesn't want to watch it on the big TV and so we're watching Here Come the Brides from my Netflix. I love that show! It wasn't on very long, only 2 seasons. I always wanted Bobby Sherman and Bridget to get married on the show.

Lol, so Austin was the one to step out to get some food, eh? From the roach wagon?

Oh!! And Wicked, that is so awesome!!! That is fantastic! This is going to be so great. I am so looking forward to seeing Special and I'm dying to see your town, Special. And the beach. And just some kind of old, colonial structure or house. The British are coming! The British are coming!Wow, I will get to see a day's post come to fruition before my very eyes. The two maestros at work, Special at the controls; I can watch her wrestle with this musicplayer.

netb, looking forward to meeting up. Boy, will we have a chatfest. I better order something quick, like a Slimfast drink. There'll be no time for chewing, lol. Don't have time to chew. Wicked, I can't wait to see you again. This is really just fantastic news.

Okay, people, here's your chance! If you're going to be in that area in two weeks, give a shout. We'll have a conference 'round the table and solve all of Toothy's problems. lol.

I say we still need to plan an honest to gosh OMG get together in 2010. Just a weekend deal. It's just kind of hard to decide where because we have people all over. And we have all of our overseas people. Which, I know it's practically impossible to even think about making a trip of that magnitude, but it'd still be awesome, wouldn't it?

Boy, if Kansas wasn't such a boring state, I'd volunteer my homestate. We could establish Ground Zero at the Super 8 near my hometown, lol. Got a Waffle House right next door where we could walk over for breakfast. Nooo, I'm just kidding.

What do you guys think of this idea? Probably shouldn't bring it up without the expressed, written consent of the two Gran Poobahla's, Special & Wicked. We're talking 2010 so that everyone has plenty of time to plan ahead & put in for the time at work & save up the money.

I think though, that if there were a fair amount of us, a gavel might be needed to keep order. It could get pretty rowdy.

destiny said...

I think it'd be great to all try and meet up somewhere next year. I won't be able to make it to Boston even though it is nearby as I am taking my gf down to the Jersey shore that weekend because we have tickets that Saturday to see Nine Inch Nails and Jane's Addiction.

OTH will have to wait until later in the week after my gf's mother leaves. So please, have mercy on me and use spoiler alerts if you talk about the show.

I seem to be on a roll with celebrity sightings, so maybe I should figure out where and when the CW upfronts are. Stumbled on Fox's walking home tonight, which was in Central Park, just in time to see Keifer Sutherland walk right by me on the other side of the barricade they had up.

And on Saturday night during the intermission of a concert I realized Jon Bon Jovi was sitting about 10 rows in front of us when he walked right by me. He looked as good as he does in pictures, but kind of on the short side. He was with his wife and they just looked very normal and happy together. Also, a lot of people came up to shake his hand--I rarely see that happen in NY because people don't want to bother celebs or don't want to look uncool--and he was very gracious about it, and let people take pictures too.

prairiegirl said...

Oh boy, Destiny. Jon. Bon. Jovi.

Now if ever a man was worthy of a ridiculous sounding "Squee", it's that guy. Wow. I'm about to pass out and I'm sitting down right now and I wasn't even there, lol! That guy is as hot as hot can get. He looks better now in his 40's than he ever did back in the 80's. I loved his character role in Ally McBeal and when she let him get away, I could've screamed. Ally let the great one get away.

I know it was only a show and it was over several years ago, but that one still hurts. lol. How could she turn that guy down? She was nuts.

I won't spill the beans, Destiny, on OTH. I haven't seen it, myself. But I had to sneak a peek and I saw the very end. Austin looked great. And Destiny, Sophia's voice has grown on me.

Bummer that you couldn't come up, too. I think a 2010 get together would be cool, though.

Okay, well, Here Come the Brides is over now & I need to hit the hay. Tomorrow is the Royals game and luckily, I think the weather is going to be pretty nice. Hope everyone has had a nice evening. And sweet dreams.

destiny said...

Bon Jovi is one of my guilty pleasures, so it was fun seeing him. I'd forgotten he was on Ally McBeal.

And I'm sorry I won't be able to make it to Boston to see everyone, seems like I either have a million things going on and things I have to miss, and then I'll have weeks go by with nothing, nada, not even a dinner out with friends. It's going to be like old home week with all of you up there visiting Special, course you'll have to watch it or she'll have you all wearing Red Sox caps. ;)

Reese Witherspoon completely ignored me, and the look that Jake Gyllenhaal gave me—one of complete irritation and distain—has lingered in the part of my brain that regulates self-esteem ever since.

Yep they deserve each other.

I dunno about that. Reeke couldn't come up with a quick smile, neither one of them? They were running for gods sake, in the opposite direction. Its not like the guy was going to accost them and the trainer lol.

Tonight's OTH felt like a series finale rather than season finale. It was nice and sentimental with each character finding his/her place in the world. Austin looked very nice.

The story about gay men not being good at direction is true for this gay man but not all gay men. My friend Joe is awesome with directions. I can call him when I am in florida and he is in NJ and he can get me anywhere I need to go. He is like having a live navigation sytstem. It is amazing.

I have bookmarked that guy's blog, Norman something (ha! I forget his last name already. Thank goodness for bookmarks). He is hilarious!!I've already read all that page's posts that he did. It sounds like this probably took place in London.

I'm not kidding, he's a wit, or at least he totally talks my kind of humor.

Anyway, not a real flattering encounter. I will say this and I will shamefully admit this because it's not a good human way to react to people. But when I've been walking at the park or shopping or wherever and an older, older man or just any guy who gives that blatant, leering stare, I will give them the cold glare and then walk right on by like, well, like a real snob. Just so I get my point across to take those eyes elsewhere. I know, it's horrible. But you ladies know there's a difference between an admiring glance and that leering, in the gutter type leer. You know it when you see it. So, before any males jump on me (!), note what type of stare gets that treatment. And let me know if I'm justified. Well, I know I'm not justified ever for that type of behavior. But well, one of you gals tell me if you've ever done that. Uh, no, pg, you're the only one. I've never felt like doing that., LOL!

You never know what kind of mood you catch somebody in. On the other hand, I'll tuck this in my "It's Possible I've Been Wrong About Jake" manila folder and not forget it's there along with a few other things.

Okay, well, the sun is out brilliantly this morning. And I better get going or I'm going to be late. I was hearing this morning on my shower radio that there's a YouTube vid called Scarlett Falls or something like that and it's had over 4 million hits. Some gal falls off a table or something. Amazing, isn't it what strikes people's fancy? I may have to check that one out as I have a sick sense of humor.

Okay, gotta go! Everyone have a great morning!

Florida Tom said...

I agree with PG as long as I dont see a picture of reese inside that wedding with Maggie and Peter I will not believe the chin was at the wedding.

Maggie has had her day so reese cannnot steal the limelight. Now lets produce the pic that puts the general at the wedding and in the same photo as Maggie and Peter. If reese is Jakes the Fake's gf then you can bet a photo was taken.

Jake the Fake. That my new name Mr. Str8. Taking acting lessons Jake the Fake. reese cant help you there.

Ok, Last night's season finale. Yeah KC it did seem a little series finale wrapping up so many storylines just in case it didn't work out for a season 7, they gave everyone a happy ending with a kind of new idea for a new beginning attached to it. And I think that they way and they put the stories in order show the direction and the focus next season, especially giving Brook and Julian the final shot of the finale.

But was Schwann channeling She's All That and The Princess Diaries the movie kind of ending with the lights being "turned on" while kissing on the movie set,or what? And they had to make Brooke go get Julian, they couldn't keep making him chasing Brooke, it would make him look pathetic.

Good to see Luke's mom Karen, but when did Moira Kelly and Daphne Zuniga (Brooke's mom Victoria) look so old? Do they not let them wear any make up for the HD cameras?

And yes Julian whipped of the shirt in the finale, with some hot good bye sex with Brooke before he headed back to LA. (Yup Brooke went to LA to claim her man) Think we're going to have to have a ooops I lost my shirt watch counter for next season.

It was a little heavy handed, a little schmaltzy, but in the end you have to realize that OTH is a more soap opera than hard hitting drama. Keeping that in perspective it does its job well.

Now about those Sox. You never know Dest - PG has asked about seeing the "Nation's most beloved" ball park while she is here. You never know what the power of Fenway can do to people. And of course I have enough Sox hats just at my house to make them all wear them. : ) But there is much much more to do and see in Boston.

And speaking of Boston and NY and baseball. Another game at Fenway this Friday night for me. And its against the Mets! Last time I saw them play the Mets, there were was a loud contingent of Met fans there, and it was even rowdier than a Yankees game. Ahhh baseball.

Enjoy the Royals tonight PG.

The sighting - Reading some of the responses that that guy got on his page, they were even dissing the guy. But the story about the girl eating ribs at Stubbs in Austin and seeig Jake and swearing off ribs, made me laugh. I don't know - it doesn't seem like the guy has told the whole story about the coming back around or his stare at them.

Or of course - it could be that Jake the Red Sox fan is a typical Sox isn't a big fan of the Orioles. Hey we love our Sox but Sox fans are not the most courteous to other American League East teams or fans. (ahem)

Ted: and even our beloved Toothy's been outed—from the poll, that is, not from his closeted daily existence. Got excited there for a sec, didn't ya?
