Ladies Love Cool A?

While The CW has yet to official confirm anything but Austin being moved to a series regular, there is more than enough chatter that changes are happening in Tree Hill next year.

Spoiler TV has first word on the casting notices for next season including three prominent new roles:

-Quinn, Haley's heartbroken older sister. Though we've only seen Taylor, it's also been mentioned that Haley has two other sisters, Vivian and Quinn.

-Alexis, a party girl and model for Clothes Over Bros.

-Clayton, a handsome sports agent who works alongside Nathan.

Did Mark Schwann read Austin's interview where he talked about Julian future on OTH or a spin off?

12. If you could choose two other characters from "One Tree Hill" to have their own spin-off with your character Julian, who would it be? And why would you choose them?

The spinoff would be Julian and all the pretty girls. I would get rid of all the guys. That's gold!!! Ha!! But of course Julian would end up with Brooke. I think that relationship is very well written and endlessly entertaining. And Sophia is quite a performer and a great star. I think the spinoff should be Julian and Brooke in Italy. She is in the fashion world and I am making spaghetti westerns.

Wait a minute - Austin - Italy - Research? Wonder if that's his story and he's stickin' to it?

You can't help but think Alexis and Clayton won't have their moments with Julian no matter how much in love he and Brooke might be. But will Mark really go for broke and odd twist on new movie Obsessed with Clayton trying to seduce Brooke? And Julian being the target of Clayton's attack? I mean the whole Single White Female thing you can't do - after the Misty movie actress move - and Julian hooking up with her. Maybe Mark will make Julian just be the ultimate ladies man and have all the ladies love him.

One thing is know - that more will be known about One Tree Hill next week at the upfronts for
The CW.

Wonder if we will see Austin and any other of the lead actors at the announcements since it is such a big change and chance to get the jump on the new campaign?

Would that mean Austin might have to make a trip or a "trip" short? Luckily its in New York. Hmmmm.

So... Mark... Julian....maybe he and Brooke do a Roman Holiday episode. I could do some research.

Hey didn't Mary Kate and Ashley do Rome in one of their movies?

That wasn't the one I'm in and we are not showing Holiday in the Sun at the cast party no matter what Hilarie and Sophia say.

That first picture is very funny. And I like the one of Austin sitting next to the director(?), he looks like he is studying whatever is going on. I wonder if he has any interest in directing, and if he'll get a chance to do it on OTH like some of the other actors have.

I recall Austin mentioning he was interested in all areas of film making.

Austin has mentioned writing before, writing a movie. I wonder he will pitch a story maybe a write and direct?

How'd you do that first picture?

Do I have to give away all my secrets? ; ) lol

Good morning you all,

I come to find a bit of sun because above my home the sky is even more grey than yesterday and it rains dogs and cats!!

How lucky I am !! an Austy post, the sun shines like always.

Yes,our boy looks so concentrated sit by the director , it's a cute pic.
I feel in him the desire to do much more than acting,I don't pretend to know his projects but I suspect a such eargerness and energy in his way to live his life! It wouldn't surprised me if he decides to explore others horizons.
But But.... I don't understand his obsession for Italy, has he italian origin or what?? lol Come to my home Austin,it's wonderful too and I can cook italian if you like.lol

Well something disturbed me while I was watching news on the TV, it was a report about the opening of Canne festival and suddenly the reporter announced Scorscese is about to shout a Franck Sinatra biopic!!

I love Scorscese with all my heart really but I wish he forget his ( girlish) crush on Leo Dicaprio just one moment and if possible for Franck Sinatra!

If you hear my prayer sir Scorscese, thanks you.

destiny said...

As much as I'd love to see him direct and write, if he is interested in that, I hope he never gives up acting, I love seeing him on the screen, and hearing him too.

destiny said...

LOL Elinor, Scorcese's girlish crush on Leo. So true.

Special K said...

Here's the story about Scorsese and the Sinatra picture on Niki Finke.

Oh! Frankie!.

Of course Leo popped up for the same reason you mentioned Elinor. He does seem to have a crush on him. And what happened with DeNiro?

There is a lot discussion there about other people who could play him and the debate between singer like Michael Buble or Harry Connick Jr. doing it vs. actors(Daniel Day Lewis? James Franco?)

And a name that popped up in the comments to play "Old Blue Eyes"? Jake's.

Is that what the hat is all about? : )

Wicked said...

Harry Connick I could see.

Elinor said...

Leo in Sinatra would be the joke of the century honestly!
I swear, I will burn my " fan of scorsese" card if he does that.

"And a name that popped up in the comments to play "Old Blue Eyes"? Jake's."

And I wondered also why he doesn't stop wearing fedora !LOL

James Franco ??? he has class but no.

I see nobody for the role really.

Either a guy who can't sing but looks like him or the contrary.

Elinor said...

"Harry Connick I could see."

But he is too tall LOL

Bitch-Back! Do Reese and Jake Stage Photo Ops?Dear Ted:
Am I the only one creeped out by photos (clearly arranged, because how many paps hang out in the remote corners of southern Italy?) of Jake and Reese engaging in a PDA while Jake's mother and a personal assistant look on approvingly? What is up with that?
—A concerned Texan

Dear Creepy Couple:
Maybe the fam is just happy Jake found such a sweet gal like Reese! Plus, wherever Gyllenspoon goes, paps follow, whether they're invited or not. (We bet Maggie and Peter sure didn't want 'em around on their wedding day.)

Dear Ted:
Is Toothy Tile Ryan Gosling?
—Leah

Dear Wrong on Ryan:
Rachel McAdams was no beard of Toothy's.

prairiegirl said...

^^^You know what? That answer to the first question was so weak & lame, it doesn't even sound like Ted. Actually, now that I look at the second one, that answer is weak, too.

I have to go out & get some stamps today. Breathe some of that oxygen/c02, or whatever it is that we breathe in out there, lol

cfkef said...

Another one from Ted -

Dear Ted:
I and several others have our suspicions on your Blind Vice on who Judas and Dash are, and if our guess is right about this, how do we now that your sources are correct? Could it be that these are just buds and someone on your end is getting it wrong?
—Susan, N.J.

Dear Dubious:
Nope, but nice try there!

destiny said...

That really is a lame-assed answer to the question about Reeke.

As for the TT question, is Ted saying Rachael was a beard from Ryan? I think a lot of his TT questions lately are really to make a point about the other people mentioned in them.

Meg said...

Maybe I'm being naive, but the latest from Ted seems nicely subtle to me.

if confirms that it was a photo op, that alot of people find it creepy and weird, and that Jake's mother at least is buying into the bearding as a way of keeping her dream of Jake's a-list status alive. Could also imply that M&P were happy with neither the photo op or reese's presence. the fact that the question is 'written' by a concerned texan seems to speak volumes.

Whatever, if I were reeke, I'd be more concerned that all the comments seem to be about robert pattinson, and no-one seems that interested in them. as someone said a while back, the end to reeke may be more with a whimper than a bang.

Meg said...

sorry, this should have come before my previous comment...

pg.. my thoughts and best wishes are with you and your family. you must be going through a very hard time, but amazingly you seem to retain a very positive and strong outlook on life, hope everything works out.

wake up said...

the answer to the first question is lame because it is not what you want to hear. Maybe Ted went on Reeke PR as well? What a gigantic conspiracy, LOL!

Meg said...

final comment... the pics of Austin today are just too cute. I just love his earnest look when sitting next to the OTH director. Hope he's enjoying Italy (if that's where he is), but heck, if he is in Europe can't he make a cheeky side trip to Scotland. I'd be more than willing to show him the local sites.

charybdis said...

For what it's worth, Naomi has been on board with the fauxmance for quite a while. Remember, she's been around Hollywood for eons, and is used to bearding as part of the business for gay actors. While I'm sure she'll be supportive if and when Jake finally comes out, she's probably also coming from a different place than we are in terms of her toleration for bearding.

Oh, and I'm sure that "Concerned Texan" is some sort of Austin shout-out (although I have no idea what it means). Not as funny as the letter from "Dickinson, TX" was a few years ago, though.

Wonderful to hear, Tom! :D Who knows who else you might be inspiring, but besides that, it's positive action and that good feeling/vibe has a way of traveling around.

I really do wonder if they will be building a new promotional campaign around Julian and Brooke for Season 7.

I have to say I am curious if they will have James, Bethany, Sophia and Austin at the upfront next week.

Thank you, Meg, I appreciate your thoughts so much on behalf of my dad, too. He's the one maintaining the game face. We all just keep trying to act like everything's pretty much normal except he can't do near what he used to be able to, but at least he's still going to the local H.S. gym with mom early in the mornings and walking. He goes slow, but I'm glad he's still doing that.

When I opened my homepage, there was a story out today about a college All Star football player who has just been diagnosed with Ewing's sarcoma, a bone/tissue cancer which mostly strikes young people up to the age of 20. Can you imagine. One minute he's looking towards a big career in football and the next, he's getting ready to fight a very aggressive form of the C. I hate this disease. I can't tell you how many people a week I get on my daily prayer list email that I get from my church who have just been diagnosed, having a biopsy, starting treatment, etc. It's just unreal. I don't want to go on about this topic too long as it's a downer, but it is real life & I like to always be aware & thinking how tough so many others have it every day it so I don't get too secure about things. Life is so fragile. Okay, change of subject.

And hey, Meg, where's your next travel headed? I am seeing the world vicariously through you, you know, lol. Between you & Elinor, I have had a little geography lesson every time you get on here. It's great. Budapest. I'm still liking that one. I just like to say that word. Budapest.

So wouldn't that be something if Austin got to co-star in his own network series? That would be awesome. I know JFC didn't work out, but I tell you what. Austin's got the goods to deliver the female viewers.

Something I noticed when I saw the credits on OTH was over and that was Brian Robbins' name. I think he was a co-producer or exec. producer. You know who he was? He was one of the kids in Head of the Class, that sitcom starring Howard H (I have no idea how to spell his last name - you know, Johnny Fever of WKRP in Cincy). Brian Robbins was the good looking, dark haired kid who was in love with Simone, the pretty red haired girl. Brian has gone on to a very successful career behind the camera. He directed a baseball film that Keanu Reeves was in. It was really good, but it was also sad so I can't watch it again.

Another little trivia of TV show kids. Kevin Hooks is another one who has become very successful behind the camera. He was one of the basketball players on The White Shadow, that great show with, hold on while I google this show because I can't recall this guy's name right off, oh yeah!!Ken Howard. Ken Howard played the H.S. coach.

Oh! Love Actually is on Lifetime right now. I love this movie. Colin Firth, Hugh Grant, Liam Neesan, Emily Thompson, and that cute kid from Nanny McPhee. It is such a fun & touching movie.

I swear to Pete, if I hear Save more, Live Better at Wal Mart one more time tonight, I'm gonna spit. I love W Mart but I am hearing this slogan all the time. It's driving me nuts.

And gas just went up again. I went out to get dinner (Fazoli's!) and I had to make a couple other stops, one of which was Quik Trip. I thought $2.09 was bad. I bout had a coronary when I went back towards home & saw the local Conoco was $2.25!! What in the heck is this all about? That's .16 cents difference.

Oh, and I also stopped @ O'Reilly Auto Parts to see about getting some bulbs for my car. I've been without a dome light now for a couple months, probably. And my trunk light. I was @ Wally World at lunchtime today and they had some bulbs, but I couldn't find a 12V10W. They had other kinds with all kinds of numbers on them. So I decided to go to this O'Reilly, with my car manual open to the page with all the sizes of bulbs for my car. There must be at least a dozen different lights that can go out at any given time on this little 4 door sedan of mine. Thank goodness the kid @ O'Reilly asked if I needed anything. I couldn't find what I needed to save my soul.

Hey, Destiny, I watched Idol Tues night and I had to root for Adam. But that Chris is one good lookin' kid. He is devestating looking, actually. But I think Adam will win it. I'll be rooting for him.

Two other stars in this Love Actually. Keira Knightley and Alan Rickman. I love Alan Rickman's voice and I love Keira's accent. I didn't even know she was in this movie until the last time I saw it and I've seen it now a half dozen times.

I am dogsitting this weekend so I have to pack tonight. This weekend it's the weiner dogs. At their house I can hook up to someone's wireless so I hope that will still be the case. I'm supposed to also go have pizza with some friends to celebrate Little Dog's mom passing her final test & getting pinned to be a nurse practitioner. Then, on Sat go to see her ceremony at the college in Liberty, MO. She has a job already lined up to be a surgeon's assistant. She starts that at a children's hospital in July. She's worked in mental health for the longest time and burned out on it.

Wow, I forgot, Billy Bob Thornton is in this, too. He plays a slimeball U.S. president.

Love Actually - oh if I can get through the opening in the airport scene without crying. Alan Rickman - had me since Truly Madly Deeply. Rodrigo Santoro - oh oh oh my! But Colin Firth! don't get me started. : )

Sounds like busy weekend for you PG, hope you have fun.

prairiegirl said...

Yes, it should be. I don't like to have things going on when I'm dogsitting but sometimes it can't be helped. They don't mind if I go out a little bit, but I am getting paid to be with the dogs, so I don't like to leave for very long or often.

I just love the scenes with Colin Firth and his girl Friday. They're so romantic.

And that poor girl who is so overdevoted to her brother to the point of not having a life. That was so heartwrenching. Who is Rodrigo Santoro? Is he the dark haired guy who likes this girl with the mentally ill brother?

Well, things have certainly been quiet, haven't they? Hard to believe that wedding was 2 weeks ago. You know, I was finally watching that clip of the interview with Bruckhamster and I thought it was so strange that the first words out of his mouth when asked about the film's star were that Jake was what, so attractive? Not anything about his acting, but about his looks. I found that really odd, to say the least. That shouldn't have been his first selling point, should it? Kind of worrisome.

Hey, I happened to think of something tonight. Tom, do you realize that you could be in a prime position to do a little investigative reporting for OMG? If it's true what I've read that Reese is going to be filming in Philly, well you know who will most likely have to go do some photo op visits to the set & also partake in some fine dining in the front windows of Philly's finest eating establishments? You are in fine position to keep one ear to the ground and one eye on the telescopic lens, so to speak.

Oh well, I need to turn this off now and start winding down. Hope everyone's had a nice evening.

Elinor,

Thanks for hitting the nail on the head about Jake and the 'fedora', I kept hearing folks calling it a 'boler' and I knew that was wrong but I just couldn't come up with the right name for that damned hat!

Congrats Tom on your further adventures in revealing your true self to others. I'm so happy it's giving you an improved sense of self.

Special.... now I'm really going to have to pay more attention to OTH, I've been relying on the pictures, comments and vids, but now I'm going to have to find all the back episodes and bring myself up to date before next season.

Night all....

Just a quick warning that we should maybe expect some major Reeking over the next few days. Abbie Cornish's latest film is being shown (in competition and meant to be very good) at Cannes. Can't imagine Reese is not going to try to over shadow that, can you. Pre-warned is pre-armed and all that.

(pg.. unfortunately have no travel plans in the next few months as work is having to take a priority. Next planned trip is Berlin and other bits of Germany, but that's a few months away).

read it carefully said...

It's subtle, but it's funny. He's playing with the clause of the sentence. It's not the paps Ted is referring to.

"Plus, wherever Gyllenspoon goes, paps follow, whether they're [Gyllenspoon] invited or not [i.e. they were not invited to the wedding as a couple]. (We bet Maggie and Peter sure didn't want 'em [Gyllenspoon] around on their wedding day.)"
