Sophia spoke to E! Online about when he arrived on set. "It was really funny to see every guy lose his mind. When he walked on set, camera equipment was getting dropped and people rushed in. The grips, who don't care about anything were like, 'Oh my God, Jerry Rice!' People went nuts. And I was like, 'This is man world. We've entered a man cave.' "
Jerry is set to appear in the season opener on September 14th.

I'm so sorry you had a rough time after your surgery. That didn't sound fun at all. There's never any way to predict how these things are going to go. The important thing to make that worth it is if it was successful.

i've read all about the make-out session in italy in front of mom. so i went to ONTD today to look at the pics, and all i see is a pic of him whispering in her ear, shots from both the front and the back, and then her laying on the ground with his hand on her hip.

I was thinking about that Italy pic today. Now I know that Austin and Sophia's passionate kissing on the beach pic yesterday was a total setup for a TV show scene but my god. Compare it to the two dead cold fishes lying side-by-side on a hard slab and there's no chemistry whatsoever. Even if Jake had his hand resting on her mons pubis instaed of her hip, no comparision.

Technically I don't think they're making out Sienna. However, I do think they did that (and a few others) with the intention of giving people the idea they are in a hot and heavy sexual relationship, even though I think Making Do is dead one regarding the results.
It does seem like there are lines not to be crossed, be it Reese and/or Jake being uncomfortable, Austin, for the sake of the children, so they can argue years later, hey we were just friends (an argument I don't buy, or more accurately, if that is what they think they're doing, I don't see how they could ever say that with a straight face, pun intended) or something else altogether. I think that also adds to the strange feel of those photos. Jake looks like he'd as soon be touching a hive full of bees, and it looks like they are trying to hard to look like they are engaged in pdas without crossing the line.
By the way, I find this set of photos among the most revolting they have done. They are creepy, they make Jake look like he has issues with mommy, the neediness for attention, the level of deceit and the fact he was going out of his way to prove Reese was there and Austin wasn't, all while clearly caring less whether he was stealing the limelight from his own sister's wedding. The Gyllenhaals's own version of "Rachel's Wedding".

So you see those pictures, Sienna? Do you see how it looks like Reeke should be laying on the sand or dirt ground? LOLLL! They're not! They are laying on hard as granite, rough as in "just poured and not smoothed out yet" concrete. No pillow. No nothin'.

Didn't notice that PG. I really only glance at these photos, I really don't like looking at them. They were probably on top of that slab so they wouldn't get dirty and were just down there long enough to get the shot. Another reason they look less than thrilled.
I doubt Austin will be at the Emmys, I think most people don't want to be subjected to that torture unless they're nominated. But I bet he does get a break from shooting around that time.

You really have to read the copy for Reeke in that contest. It is worse than the worst romance novel. And man, I wonder if PR had anything to do with the couples chosen. Wouldn't they have to okay the use of their names in what is essentially an ad? What can I say.....

m & Sienna, I totally hear what you are saying. No, Jake never has said a single word about Reese. Of course, he's only been on TV a few times. I think ET's interview about a sneak preview of PoP was the only valid opportunity for him to be asked about her, but of course, there was nothing. Not really a surprise.
As we all know, this fall will be the time. The time for Jake to speak out openly about this hot relationship of his. And I fully expect him to do it. How can he not. I want to see him do it.

The thought of there being a BT and Jake playing stepdad always blows my gasket too. I run hot and cold on the topic, and I know I heated up after after the minivan sighting in D.C., but then a big part of me really has a hard time believing it partly because I can't believe anybody would do that to their child. It's bad enough that Reeke are using the children as props in this whole ugly mess.
I never know what to think about J&A's relationship lately either.
I agree, you can't have grey areas when it comes to children. But it goes on all the time in HW. Ted just answered a question this week about closeted gays in HW using children to prove they are straight. I'm sure he's talking about Jake as well as Will, Tom.....
I've pretty much accepted that the person I though Jake was doesn't exist, and after Maggie's wedding that there doesn't seem like there is much left that is decent in Jake. What I haven't accepted is how someone like Austin, who seems so different, could possibly be with someone like that. So, in terms of your question, again my view may be clouded by what I would like to see happen--for Austin to move on.
One more thing, I do think the Ojai picture was a plant of sorts--either arranged, or they went to something where they knew they'd get photographed or twitted about, so everyone gets the message he is spending time with the beard's children.

Well, Jake being complete off the radar and Austin nowhere around Wilmington, followed by a Reekekrieg tells me that they are still very much together.
Lastest Ojai - even more so when not in front of the paps and just casual snaps shows there's no romantic connect there.
And I don't think Jake acts as step father with Ava and Deacon. He doesn't interact like that with him, and the kids don't act like he spends that much time around them. They know him, but they do not have that connection with him like they do with Abby. The only time you really saw them connect was Ava and Jake during those couple days in France last year.
But Special, why go at all? That's what I'm saying.
It'd be like my dad going out with another family on a trip to Worlds of Fun while we sat at home. That makes no sense whatsoever.

I've got my airfare booked for D.C. in October. I was really wanting to attend the march on Capital Hill and it looks like it has a good chance of happening, the Good Lord willing.

I got a pretty good airfare. $186 round trip. So, exciting times instead. I think I'll take Officer Pike with me so I can show him off to Wicked & Mrs. But I 'll have to keep him wayyyy out of reach of Tink. After seeing what Tink does to her toys, Officer Pike wouldn't stand a chance. He'd be Mozaic Officer Pike before you could say "Hot!"

But ITA with PG about the kids and the insinuation. It seems like that had stopped for awhile, but now we're getting sightings again with the kids, and now the Ojai picture. But it's on flicker, not as lasting as IHJ, harder to find years down the road. That's why I think it was a set-up.
I'd sure love to know what Reese tells the kids about this whole thing. Ava is old enough to see all the tabloids at the store, at friends' homes, etc.

Among other things, I just read this week that the Broadway production of Hair is actually canceling their Sunday matinee so the whole cast can be there! I've never heard of a show doing anything like that. Of course a lot of credit goes to Gavin Creel, who has had absolutely no problem not only being out, but has been working very hard for gay marriage through an organization he helped found. How rare is that for an actor--none of the other out celebs are this involved in gay causes.
Maybe it was a bit harsh of me to say there isn't anything decent in Jake anymore. Let's just say that he seems to be working very hard, publicly, to be nothing more than just another HW tool. Well, congratulations Jake, you've succeeded very well at that.

Like said before Ojai and areas around, not necessarily in Ojai or at Reese's house just in those immediate areas, would be a great place for BT. An hour away from LA, wide open spaces, long dirt roads going to houses in the middle of nowhere. Believe me I've gotten lost there, its like being in an agriculture field with no street signs for the corn rows.
Anyway it always strikes me how when Austin disappears from NC for more than a week, so does Jake (disappear from LA), but somehow Jake will always be sighted (with Reese of course) in Ojai around that time too, especially at the end of Austin's hiatus. Make of it what you will but IMO that's not a coincidence.
Also noticed in the Wiki Ojai link, Jake is listed as a 'notable resident'. Now whether this is from some over-enthusiastic and over-assuming Babbler remains to be seen/researched. If it wans't the work of a Babbler, then maybe its someone who just sees him there and assumes (again)? Or maybe there's a more valid ie legal reason for that mention, someone, another resident or a city hall employee, who can say "yes he's a resident, yes Ojai is great, celebs live here" but can't reveal how they actually know, and hey the inclusion of Jake's name in Wiki Ojai can be blamed on a Reese fan! If anyone wants to look up titles and property records and do whatever it might be found but more like it won't because it will be under grant/corp/property-address/trust title names. Jake's attorneys have gotten better.
So that last week or so, 1 pic of Reeke and A&D in Ojai? Big deal. Bt would be what a toddler? you can't take a toddler everywhere. You don't to be with a toddler everywhere. So what if Reeke A&D went to some late afternoon CD party at a trailer park. Maybe it was a chance for Jake to get out of the house for once.
I don't think it was a coincidence that Reese has a home in Ojai either. Even if she's 1/2 hr away from Jake or only a beanfield away it makes for easy public visuals and photo ops. Also remember besides Maggie who's in NY, who else besides Reese does Jake know who has kids, that he can ask about things? Gwyneth P with her ridiculous GOOP fasting bible? Yes Reeke is a bearding arrangement but IMO it also has a common denominator of single parents.

Ojai is a good 70 miles or so from the area Jake normally gets pictured. A good distance away if you are hiding something. Back when he was looking for a place near London, a private garage with an entrance directly to the house was a requirement. That spoke volumes to me. He has something to hide, no doubt about it. Kacie I have been trying to get an answer from Ted regarding TTs and GGs relationship for almost a month. I have asked in many ways. So far no go. Not sure why Ted will not tell us if they are still together or have split. My guess he just doesnt know. I will keep trying till though. Maybe he will come through.

I have heard of some crazy arrangements in Hwood but I would be very surprised if there was an actual human baby kicking around in Jake's life. Guys get girls pregnant and have unplanned babies that they deal with in a variety of ways but to try to have a baby and then hide it makes no sense whatsoever. Doesn't TC say he mixes truth with rumor and puts things into BI's to throw people off? That doesn't mean Jake isn't a closet case or he didn't have or had a thing going with Austin.
Oh no don't tell Jake or he might buy one in every color before the company closes.

Those are all good points about Ojai and BT being so young, but it doesn't change the fact that Jake is seen with the beard's children and they promote themselves as a family, while Jake may be hiding his own child. And most parents do take their kids out even when they are infants, even private ones like Maggie.
And just think about it for a minute. We have Jake, who has admitted in interviews he felt like he didn't get enough attention from his parents. What if BT is his biologically, and inherits that kind of temperament. Plus Jake is in the same business as his parents, often away filming long hours, running around spending time with the beard, etc. And what happens when BT gets older? Don't we often criticize Reese for seemingly leaving so much of the child-raising in the hands of her nanny? If that is bad for Ava and Deacon, then you can't say it is not bad when it comes to BT.
You have a recipe for disaster, especially when BT gets old enough to start Googling around.
Finally, to address TR's comment, if there is a BT, I think it was because there were plans to come out. So in my eyes this makes it doubly-wrong. You don't plan to have a child and basically say, oops, changed my mind, not a good time to have one, so I guess we're just going to have to hide him or her so Jake can be an A-list star and make more money.
Visitor interesting theory. M, the requirements were interesting for London indeed, and there was talk that he was staying a distance from London, and from the story about the hotel, it seems like he had the whole place just for himself (and his others?) but one the of the things that stuck out to me was about the house in SC, and someone disclosed where it was, and Jake's legal team, jump on it with a cease and desist letter.
