Article in yesterday's USA Today about Natalie and Brothers.
Jake has been in LA, NY, MV, Texas, Pittsburgh, South Carolina, Morocco and Europe.
He has attented a conservation corps luncheon, has worked with children for Global Green and spent time with young criminals in jail.
So what is your point exactly? That this year Austin is more visible while doing these things due to having signed on to a more well-known show? Yes, he did travel and do stuff before you heard about him through Sophia! He didn't just stand there in stand-by mode waiting for her to come by! Shocking, I know.
How exactly does that mean Austin and Jake aren't a couple? Because that is what you're trying to say here, so don't deny it.
I also love how you say that Austin doesn't talk about his relationship with Sophia, when in fact he does. And whenever he does, he as good as denies it.
But them denying it (as someone pointed out, Sophia did too) just isn't as pleasing to you so it never happened, right?

Looks like Jake is doing a junket with local stations for Brothers and then going to do Kimmel tonight. Wonder how punchy he's going to be. Kimmel could be even funnier than expected.
I don't know but all the papers from NY talk about Jake being a native son and a NYC resident. Wonder if they are going to be settling in NYC. Kind of sounds like he's in Cali for the briefest of times, total business kind of trip. Austin has said that you have to go to LA for business making it sound like a business destination now. And he's talked about loving NYC. And his mystery weekends from the Wilmington last year.
No doubt NY is easy not to be seen when you don't want to be seen. And go over the bridge like Maggie did and you can have some private life. All that and bring Atti over sounds like everyone and the house moved East.

Why would she have that InStyle interview come out just 1 or 2 months ago speaking about how Jake cooks, blah blah blah, implying about their life together? Why would you let that article come out so close to this fiasco? That just doesn't sound like something that would be planned because it makes her look stupid now. Why make it sound like everything's hunky dory in InStyle if you're being even just rumored to be breaking up just a month, month & a half later?

I have to say I've wondered if the split wasn't so Jake would have a good excuse for not talking about his personal life during Brothers promotion, without raising any questions, and that Reeke would then get back together just in time for the holidays. But I don't think Ted would be planning to write something up about what is going on unless he has pretty good sources, and doubt he'd be hinting at more to come if it was just about that. Particularly when you consider he was asked in that question about TT ever being able to come out.
Haven't had time to watch all of the Jake stuff since I've been on the road, but I'm back in NY and work is acutally looking like a normal schedule for a change, so hopefully I will get to it this weekend.
PG, I'm curious about what is going on with Tiger too, just haven't had time to pay attention.

i think this whole fiasco has just turned me into a nasty person, because i laughed my ass off about that SOURCE article, where the prime minister got Reese confused with Renee. it's his fault, or his people's fault, but still - it's funny. i'm sure i'll get some sort of cosmic payback for thinking so, like... they'll probably have to get back together now because less than a week after the break-up and already she's losing her name recognition.
and i feel really bad for not being more proud of her for fighting against domestic violence, but i guess i'm just not convinced that she's in it for anything but a paycheck. i've never heard her say a word about it - not a promo on tv, not a plug in her magazine articles, nothing. the only time i know that it's her THING is when i read about how she's jetting off somewhere to have a photo-op and make a speech or participate in some charity thing, which maybe i've seen press on one time. i just don't buy it that she cares. sorry.

The thing that always gets me too is that here she is promoting the need for women to be strong and independent, but the minute she gets divorced she can't be seen without a man on her arm, even if it means having a gay boyfriend. Talk about sending a message that being seen with a man is more important than your own integrity.

The story depends on the tab you read. The majority of tabs say that that time apart and marriage are playing a part in the rift.
The majority say that they spend Thanksgiving apart, one says it's Jake who is pushing for marriage and Reese who is halting things.
But most are saying it's Jake who doesn't want to settle down, that Reese wants more of a family life and yet Jake doesn't because he is young and because he is really focused on his career and continues to book projects away from LA.
