A Little Nippy?

Thinking of Mr. Nichols, you might think that a little nip is this:

But could it be possible that it's another kind all together? Now, it could be a lot of thing, a birthmark, mole, or it could be a supernumerary nipple. In Chandler Bing speak, a nubbin.

Third nipples are not very rare: one in eighteen people has one. They can range in appearance from a small mole-like structure to a full breast, even in men. Third nipples are more common in men than in women.

They're most likely to occur just about below where nipples normally are, but sometimes down near the lower abdomen, where other mammals have multiple nipples on their bellies.
All mammals can develop an extra nipple. Nipple development is classified into eight levels. The first level is the mole-like nipple. The eighth level is a fully developed, female, milk-bearing breast in a female and a fully developed, male, non-milk bearing breast in a male.

Their occurrence has been observed since Roman times and are often attributed to be a sign of virility and fertility. Although in Salem MA in Colonial Times, women with them were condemned as witches and burnt at the stake, as they were thought to use them to suckle the Devil.

There are some famous people who part of the triple nipple club. Carrie Underwood during her American Idol audition admitted to having a third nipple which looked like a mole. Lily Allen showed off hers on UK television during The Friday Night Project show. Anne Boleyn, the second wife of King Henry VIII, was victimized because of her third nipple. And even Mr. Efron is in the Celebrity Extra Nip Club. BBC Radio 1 presenter Jo Whiley, revealed she had had a third nipple removed. Her husband gave her the nickname Scaramanga, after the James Bond villain who had a supernumerary nipple.

Francisco Scaramanga, was in the 1965 novel and the 1974 James Bond movie The Man with the Golden Gun. In the movie, Bond has Q make a fake nipple in order to impersonate Scaramanga, although he places it in an anatomically impossible position. Scaramanga, and Chandler there's another name to add to the pop culture group, Krusty the Klown. Lisa used her knowledge of Krusty's third nipple to see if Krusty was an impostor in an episode of The Simpsons.

Probably the most famous triple nipple is Mark Wahlberg's. He famously spoke about it to the press before considering an operation to have it removed, but then decided against it, citing his third nipple as his "prized possession".

So Mole? Nip? of Just Julian trying to make his mark? ; )

Gee whiz, I wish people would stop using that "quit you" line. That is getting sooooooo old. And it's not even funny anymore. Who wrote that thing for that New Yorker, anyway?

Does Austin have one of the best looking abs there or what? That shot with the surfboard is just.....lol, man. Forget the 3rd nip, I can't move my eyes from his abdomen. And I'm not even a fan of the sealskin look. C'mon, would someone hide the Nair or the paraffin from him? Just stop it! Leave it alone! Nothin' wrong with a bit of follicle action on the ol' rectus abdominis.

lol. Guess my opinion really isn't the one that matters, though, is it?
**sigh** Oh well.

Well, was supposed to go camping this weekend but that's off! Free weekend! I'm doing a Kevin McAllister run through the apartment.

Hey, you know what? If I knew our office vacay calendar was clear for me to take off that following Monday or something, I would do it, you guys!

I see air fares for $239 for a Friday late afternoon/early eve departure and that would work out perfect.

I'd pay $35. But I bet it'd be impossible to get tickets, wouldn't you think? I need that Monday clear though at work to get off.

I would be special correspondent!!!! I would make the big sacrifice.

LOL - do you think they would be patting everyone down at the door for I.D. for a "P.G."???

I wish my buddy Jason was still working nights, I would have him go check the dept vacay calendar.

Dest, would you have an ottoman I could fetal on for a couple of nights? lol.

I'm serious, I would do it. That's pretty decent airfare. I suppose I could fly back Sunday night if I had to. But that could make a diff. in the airfare. I shall go check!

prairiegirl said...

Ooooh. Yeah, makes a big difference waiting to come back on that Monday. I'm going to email my mid-day whse supr buddy - send him up to the BB's office to look at that dry erase board. He owes me! He had left the toaster oven on this afternoon as I was trying to wash the coffee pots and I burned my fingers trying to push it back against the wall. Man, that thing was hot - burned me.

I dunno. The Big Apple. It'd liable to swallow me whole and spit me out. lol. Logan Airport is one thing. LaGuardia is a whole other ball o' wax!!

Shouldn't point out that stuff going on in HW. It's just sad, that's all. All right, we've had a return to summer here. It's hot. Muggy.

We'll see what can be accomplished today. There's a huge mess surrounding Laptop Central here that really needs to get tackled. And writing to be done. And no one else is up, apparently. LOL.

Thanks everyone for the best wishes. I'm already having a great day. Flowers delivered at 8:00 a.m., (a gorgeous bouquet of 25 long stem ginger spice Leonidas roses and white calla lilies) dinner reservations at my favorite restaurant, and a beautiful saphhire ring. Woooohooooo!!! Just for fun, a friend of mine who knows I love Jake, designed a refrigerator magnet with that beautiful sexy photo of Jake stretched across a blue rug. The one where he has that "Come f*ck me," look. Now, everytime I make dinner, I'm going to be devouring Jake's gorgeousness before the main course is even in the oven. LOL.
