Over and Over

Jake says that Source Code is like Groundhog Day in the beginning.

The otter must make the difference.

Asked about a sequel to PoP, Jake said there are no plans but he wouldn't mind spending 6 months in London and Morocco again. With Jake pretty much living on the East Coast since fall 2009 (hmmmm funny how that happen when Austin did too), sounds like living away from LA is not too tough.

Dear Ted:
Has Lorin Sniffle-Puss ever worked with Toothy Tile? Is Lorin better known for work in tv or movies? Thanks!
—Glory

Dear Sniffing Around:
Nope, Toothy and Lorin have not worked together. And I would say that Lorin is talented in more ways than one. Perhaps even more than Toothy?

Dear Ted:
We Vice followers are all in the know about leading men like Toothy Tile and Topher Hairy-Tuchus who lead their double lives, their feet firmly planted in the closet. But what about the leading ladies? Are any A-list actresses deeply-closeted lesbians? Do they have beards?

Dear No Discriminating Here:
Of course there are a few, but it is much more rare, you are correct. Most women in Hollywood have tried the girl-on-girl thing a time or two. But it's often—not always—for a man, (how typical) or because they are just super f—ed up.

A source says Taylor would dump Jake ‘in a minute’ if Taylor Lautner would take her back.

Taylor Swift, 21, may be rubbing her new relationship with Jake Gyllenhaal, 30, in our faces, but old flames rarely burn out — and according to a new report, Taylor is still carrying a torch for her ex-boyfriend, 18-year-old Taylor Lautner! ”She’s not over him yet,” a ‘friend’ of Taylor’s tells In Touch Weekly. “They still text. She wants him back.”

The source continues to say that Taylor is more attracted to her hunky Twilight ex than she is to her current squeeze. There’s also the age difference to consider: there are nine years between her and Jake, but only three between her and Taylor.

CLAIM: Taylor Swift Using Jake Gyllenhaal to Get Taylor Lautner Back
“Is Taylor Swift just using Jake Gyllenhaal to make her ex-boyfriend, Taylor Lautner, jealous?” begins a piece in In Touch.
A supposed “friend” of the singer tells the mag that over a year after they broke up, Swift is “not over [Lautner] yet” and “wants him back.”
Now Swift is using Gyllenhaal, says the tab, “in hopes of making the Twilight star come back to her.”
The so-called “friend” of the singer claims that while Swift “likes” the Brokeback Mountain actor, “She would dump him in a minute if Taylor would take her back.”
Is Swift really “still carrying a torch” for her former Valentine’s Day costar?
Not in the least.
Swift and Lautner, who dated for a few months and split in 2009, have remained friends, a source close to the singer tells Gossip Cop, adding she’s perfectly “happy” with Gyllenhaal.

Just saw TRUE GRIT. Only understood 20% of what came out of Jeff Bridges' mouth. Loved 100% of it. 39 minutes ago via Twitter for BlackBerry®

I have no clue who Sniffle Puss is supposed to be so Ted's column is wasted on me today.

"With this last interview I just posted about, it seems that Anne has had just about enough of Jake's antics too." Very insightful comment. Over the years of watching Jake's interviews I've noticed fellow actors and at least two directors showed a similar response to Jake. Not at first, but eventually their impatience slipped out. The constant humorous answers to evade an honest answer are cute at first but become tiresome and annoying when that is all you ever get. The contrast of Jake's replies versus Anne's was particularly revealing through the LAOD marketing tour.

Destiny, you need to check out Just Jared or Perez. Both have clips of Bomer singing a duet at the Lincoln Center. He seemed just a bit nervous but who knew he had such a good voice.

I noticed Jake laughed when asked the question about POP. He is probably surprised someone even asked the question.

The Goodyear Blimp. LOL. I killed myself on that one, Dest.

It could also read using that incredibly tired commercial slogan, but instead geared more for Jake:

"GOT STRAIGHT?"

LOLLLL!!

Oh, I'm sorry, I couldn't help it. But he asks for it with his now constant drum beating, horn blowing, trumpet blasting, flag waving, convertible riding, neon flashing, megaphone announcing, skywriting campaign that he's just the straightest horn dog there ever was.

What Jake doesn't get is this: what he's puffing his chest out about now at age 30, most guys have long gotten out of their system at this point. The LAOD promo tour was like a second run through puberty, full of bravado and exxagerated tales of hetero sexual sensations.

Jake, buddy........PR, you might want to read this, too. **shakes head**. People might've bought that you were straight except there's been this mushrooming issue with the big Straight sandwich board you've put on with the arrows, the spotlights, the pointy fingers, the glow-in-the-dark writing, the flashing blue KMart light, the flyers, the marching band, and the campaign buttons.

Here's a tip. Watch some old film of Marcus Allen scoring a few touchdowns. Just watch him.

That's how you should've sold it if you had wanted it that bad. Not by doing the worm, the Billy White Shoes dancing, high stepping into the end zone kind of nonsense.

**sigh**. I don't know why I wasted my breath like hat. LOL!!

It was fun anyways. Convertible riding. I kinda liked that one.

True Grit. You know, that one just gets me. How can you re-do True Grit?

How is that? Who would ever try to re-make a John Wayne movie? I mean....it's mindblowing to me. It's just wrong, that's what it is.

If they ever try to re-make Meet Me In St Louis or The Harvey Girls, I think I'll have a fit.

Well, think I've ranted enough. I'm starting to fall asleep.

lol, Jakey's cracking me up in that little muffler of his. You do not see guys here in the Midwest wearing their mufflers like that. Matter of fact, you don't see too many mufflers at all. They may do that in New York, but here in Kansas...well, you just don't see it.

lol.

Well, these are the waning days of 2010.

My last day of work for 2010 as we will be closed tomorrow - yeaaa! Today, the accountants will drive us nuts!!! I can wait. lol. Accountants and bookkeepers across the globe will be driving all of their co-horts nuts.

Time to take care of all of those coupons that expire on Dec 31. Spend the last of that flex spending account. I've got to go get my free allowed contact lenses before the new year. Don't know why I do this every year. lol. And hurry - go get your 50% off calendars before the halfway decent selection is gone. I still managed to find some good ones last night.

Question - does anyone know who gets to vote for the Oscars? What do the actors have to do in order to belong to the Academy? Would Austin be a member of the Academy? Or is it a set, limited group of geysers, I mean, older individuals?

Special K said...

No PG they are not all old geysers in the Academy, unless you call Jake an old geyser. He was made a member of the Academy a year after his nomination.

Austin is not a member. I wonder if Austin is taking advantage "knowing" a member who gets screener copies of all the movies that are campaigning. (True Grit, Black Swan)

Hey, does anyone remember a song that was posted here that had a sort of bossa-nova influence to it and a female lead vocalist? I seem to remember it was posted here, and I can't remember the name of the band or the song. The original post was about Austin N. This was awhile ago. TY!
