Has Taylor forgiven him for breaking her heart or is he just trying to avoid being the subject of her next song?

"Looks like things may be on the mend for Taylor Swift and Jake Gyllenhaal. The pair dined at Nashville hotspot, The Bound’ry, yesterday and an insider tells us, “They were spotted last night around 9:30PM for a late dinner. The restaurant wasn’t very busy and they were left to dine in peace.” But what’s even more interesting is what happened after the date!

People Magazine says that while the former lovebirds did have dinner together they were “cordial to one another [but they] were not affectionate. There was no holding hands, but they seemed happy together.”

But HollywoodLife.com has exclusively learned that the mood took a turn for the romantic following their leisurely dinner. Our source reveals that as the pair left the restaurant, “They were seen crossing the street together arm in arm to Swift’s condo at The Adelicia, which is directly across the street from The Bound’ry.”

The insider thinks the night may have even gotten steamier when Jake and Taylor “went upstairs together and Jake was not spotted leaving the building anytime soon.”

So has Jake successfully begged for Taylor’s forgiveness and made up with the blonde songstress or have his pleas for a possible reconciliation fallen upon deaf ears? I guess we’ll be hearing a song about it revealing the torrid details soon enough!

*Rolls eyes* Gee, I hope Jake had protection. We wouldn't want him to get pregnant again.

All kidding aside, though. I have to agree that something's up. Ted says there's a Baby Tile. I believe him. There are clues, including Jake's unnatural stubborness when it comes to altering his PR plan. If there was no Jaustin family, I would think he would have improved his "Road Act," by now. At least when it comes to his bearding habits and high profile beards. Certainly, a low key relationship would be suitable. Make him appear straight without having to perform in a circus-like environment. But, still he insists are going big so he can get front page publicity to place him in all kinds of locales and situations when he probably isn't even there. No pics of them at the restaurant, yet a bunch of nosy blabbermouths spilling the beans about what they saw. The art of deception on steroids. It's plain to see that not many people are buying this stuff, anymore. Yet, he continues to do it. Hiding a child or children might be the explanation.

Remember all the talk about Jake being is New Year's Eve movie? That all has stopped. Funny how that happened at the same time of the "breakup".

Methodical Muser said...

Yeah, I noticed that, Special. Neither Jake nor Swifty are "rumored" to be associated with New Year's Eve, any longer. Now, it's just Alex Williams who is known for his big blue eyes. At least, according to imdb that is. Uh-oh. Looks like Jake might have some cinematic competition. Never in my book, of course. Jake is one in a million, in so many ways. *grin* And, I'm known for my steadfast loyalty.

Btw: Austin looks great with that gold band.

^ And, pray tell, how do you know that's Swift's car? There's no Lic Plate# Or, for that matter when the photograph was actually taken. Or, where? Isn't it conveninet to come up with a pic, just when people were asking for one. PR is so kind to us. Can they get us a video tape of their hot sex the night before too?

prairiegirl said...

True, Cynical. True.

Jake must be getting Twitter tips from his man, Austin. Austin & Soap are all up on how to use Twitter and FB to place them in specific places at specific times.

Sophin even came through with a fake time/date stamp on their Spain Twitpic. That was an all-time granted wish. Sort of. Not quite on the mark but hey, they tried.

Awww, he anted to wish her Bon Voyage on her tour, noe it's back to L.A. where he can wander around with Busy's husband!

Good thing he showed up in time and were sure to be seen in a popular Nashville joint!

JuChilla: Ohh snap! Jake Gyllenhaal is on my flight to LAX thought he and t-swift were done?!?

Oh brother.

My sister just got home from our local Hy Vee and she says Jake/Ol' Tay are alllll over the rags. So I go to one of the basement dwellers, In Touch and those 2 are front & center on the cover.

"Taylor in Tears"

JAKE'S CRUEL REBOUND - Just weeks after dumping Taylor, Jake heats up with Camel's Belle, the sexy star who stole her last boyfriend!

The man has no shame anymore.

I am sorry. Jake's not this stupid. He's not doing this for publicity to try and drum up a new movie role. How is this kind of Tiger Beat/Harlequin Romance garbo going to get him a serious role?

This kind of rag cover mold & mildew is starting to look like it's for someone who just doesn't care anymore.

And so one has to ask themselves, why? Why does someone who once had the sky as the limit with his career throw his reputation out the window like this? It can't be about his career.

This is just embarrassing. If he's not embarrassed? I'll be 100x embarrassed for him.

George Castanza was one in a million. lol. The guy is just one of the all-time greatest TV characters.

The corduroy suit that he bought by outsmarting another customer. He finally gets the suit but Jerry & Elaine discover that the suit pants "swish" between his thighs and make a noise.

LOLLLL!

Awwww, yea Austin! Buddy's going to do a great job, I'm sure of it.

I know where that is - East Nashville, in the Marche parking lot. Prolly today since he was eating lunch there today. :-). Hope that helps.

Austin getting to direct is the only good thing about OTH getting another full season.

That sure was a short trip, what, Swifty didn't want to take Jake on her cruise ship gig?

I can smell the desperation all the way from Nashville and LA. Jake will do anything to get attention, even if it means everyone hating on him all over the internet.

Special K said...

Ted has said that Camille need the publicity more than Jake and implied that it was more her than him.

Seems like that trip to Nashville was business and it could be that is finishing it up officially. Got to dot the i's and cross those t's.

Also PopSugar said that Jake spent most of the evening at Art of Elysium hanging with Busy and Marc.

Um, Austin is hot. Thank you for Austin Fridays.
I have never seen OTH. Don't have cable. Is Austin a good / decent actor? Because he is SO HOT. Seems like he should perhaps be getting some better roles. Super hot, great personality, funny, charismatic, super hot...

prairiegirl said...

OwlGirl, you need to see those Crowdrise pictures. Those things would make steam rise out of snow.

Whereas Jake peaked in his early 20's, Austin seems to just be hitting his stride. Not only is Austin great looking, got a great physique, it sounds like he is just a really, really nice guy.

I read count after count on the Forum of fan encounters with him in Wilmy and no one has ever had a contrary word about him. Austin takes time to talk to the fans, is very demonstrative with his appreciation (LOL! C'mon, only hugs and whatnot), and takes a lot of pictures with them. I also read instances where Austin directly messages to them on twitter. Austin has a sense of humor. He seems to be very smart. He seems very polite.

(Just don't look at his early Twitter days!)

You know, Jake is the lucky one. Jake has found himself a gold mine in Austin.

Austin is the quiet one. Jake is the outgoing one. That's why they have been able to stay together all this time because I don't know of another Hollywood star who would put up with Jake's bullshit.

Again, I'll say - it's Jake who is the lucky one. Not the other way around. It's taken me about 3 yrs to see that.

Check my avatar out, OwlGirl.

Beautiful there.
;)

prairiegirl said...

There are going to be some broken hearts over on the Forum when they finally wake up and either realize or they find out that Austin and Soap are totally made up.

Because there are some over there who have fallen for the guy and they just love him to death. This pic that's my avatar is a real favorite of some of them.

And for once, I agree with them on something. LOL!

prairiegirl said...

And since I'm blabbering away and totally ignoring my final edit of Chapter 16 (LOLLLL!! That thing's never going to get to my beta at this rate.)

One last thing, OG. This is both a favorite story of mine but it's also a real burr in my butt.

Back when Austin and Robert-o Buckley first joined OTH, the 2 guys were in this interview/video that was on ET Tonight or something like that.

Veeeerrrrry interesting. Buckles was clearly crushing on Austin and even Austin seemed to have given him a pretty flirty "Thank you" for coming to tell him that his lunch or whatever was waiting (peanut butter sandwich with the crust removed just the way Austin liked). One of the best vids ever.

So cute was this video that myself and several others on here were commenting about it. They were immediately dubbed Buckin.

Well.

Computer screens hadn't even barely gone cold yet and Ted was putting the big hammer to Buckin. There was "nothing to see there", "nothing going on", get our little heads out of that gutter.

Not only that, but Austin was no longer seen near Roberto in pics.

And not only that, but seems to me that it was very soon after that video came out, Sophin appeared somewhere together in the famous "suspenders" outing and the appearance of Big Blue suddenly re-emerged, out of hibernation.

Another big ol' reminder that Austin belonged to somebody else and just put ol' Buckin 6 feet under.

Talk about raining on a parade. :(

So this is the loyal kind of guy that Austin seems to be. Jake can be caught in an alley trying to get his kicks but Austin? Austin gets one cute little hug from a male co-star and Jake is probably on the phone 10 minutes later pitching a fit and saying No Mas to Robert-o.

Do I hold a grudge? Nawwwwww. I don't have a long-term memory. LOLLL!!!

m, you remember that video, don't you? I know you do.

destiny said...

Great avatar PG. Now maybe I'll stop thinking you're frowning at everything, and not just at the snow, lolllll.

Owlgirl, OTH is on CW, which is considered a network the way Fox is considered a network. Not sure it's worth watching this year, but you should be able to get it, and hopefully at least watch the episode Austin directs.

destiny said...

I'd almost forgotten about Buckin". Don't know why they were so afraid of giving the fans what they wanted.

One of the things I love about White Collar is that Bomer and DeKay love to play up their bromance while promoting the show.

prairiegirl said...

Dest! Totally forgot. I was watching Wipeout last night, I think that's when I saw this.

I saw this commercial for White Color, new episodes on USA and wow! ol' Bomer looked awesome.

Wow - not bad at all. He just looked different in live action than he does in his pictures. Much more natural. Anyway, certainly caught my eye.

You remember that video, don't you? Wasn't that cute?

I might add, that the embellishment at the end of that comment at 21:35 was purely mine. But the rest of it happened, true as I'm sitting here watching Mama Mia and watching Pierce Brosnon totally Butcher The Winner Takes It All. How on earth that producer could possibly let that man sing in that movie is beyond me. He sang awfully. It was just.....awful. man.

prairiegirl said...

As awful as Pierce Brosnan tried to "sing", Colin Firth looks just absolutely drop dead gorgeous.

**SIGH**

prairiegirl said...

Alright, I need to stop commenting. My pizza dinner has gone to my brain.

White Color = White Collar. LOLL!

And oh DOG!!! Now he's butchering I Do, I Do, I Do, I Do !!!!!!! Just absolutely THE WORST singing I have ever heard. Ever. By anyone in a Hollywood musical.

Ranks right up there with Christiana Aguillera and her Christmas songs. The worst.

the real m said...

PG, yes I remember that video. It made me interested in Buckley for about 2 seconds, but the mood passed. It did feel like we saw something not intended for viewing.

At least we know what episode to watch for Austin's debut. I think we may need to cut him some slack the first time. He looks like he is trying very hard though. Good for him for putting his heart in to it.

I don't know what is up with Jake. I guess I've come to realize he is not as smart as I thought he was. Intelligence and common sense do not go hand in hand. Austin has an advantage over him in that he earned his spot in Hollywood by using his wits and street smarts. Jake had doors opened due to family connections so never had to learn those skills. He is being taken advantage of and does not even know it. The negative comments resumed yesterday and continue today. It is possible that Swift's camp was upset because of all the she got dumped stories, so maybe this was to help her save face. He did not stay long, that's for sure. Then again, it just may be that Jake delivered the check in person.

Methodical Muser said...

I see that PG is shipping Buckin again. Okay, OwlGirl you might as well see the visual. Or else, PG will continue to drool and guffaw. I have to admit the video is pretty hot and Austin, the hugger, is on full display. I'm sure Jake thought he destroyed all the copies, but we at OMG always try to please. Here we go thanks to Spooky2thlivejournal -- Peanut Butter and Jelly coming up. No crust. Just like Austin likes it:

Before Vanilla Frosting There Was PB&J

destiny said...

PG, seeing him "live" or on White Collar makes all the difference. I'm not usually into pretty guys like Bomer, but when you see him in action, sigh....

Totally off topic, I can't believe Keith Ohlberman has been fired. :-( :-(

Also totally off topic, there is this amazing Arcade Fire video, you plug in old addresses you lived at, and it uses Google to pull up images and incorporate them into the video. Warning, it takes a lot of processing memory, and you can't have any other internet windows open while running it.

While you can see it in pictures of Austin throwing the he's my man vibe out there when he's with Jake, can only imagine what Jake did when he saw that videos of Austin and Rob. Talk about Don't Mess with (His) Texas.

Methodical Muser said...

Oh, I can believe Olbermann was fired. The regulatory approval of the acquisition of NBC Universal by Comcast Cable this week more than likely sealed his fate. I suspect the swallowing up of diverse opinions and challengers of the status quo is only going to get worse in the future. Particularly, in light of the longstanding disregard for antitrust law and the elimination of regulatory protections. As time goes by, they'll be even fewer voices of dissent than there are now. The internet, no doubt, will be the next target of the corporatist agenda. Thank you Keith. You were a light in the darkness back in April 2003. A powerful voice who consistently spoke truth to power. Rumor is he may be returning to sports broadcasting which is something he loves. I wish him good fortune.

12:37 is probably a troll, but I have to agree - there aren't that many photos of them together, and I don't recall any "he's my man vibe" coming from Austin

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!

Where's the "hey, your lunch is ready. PB&J - with the crusts removed. Just the way he likes it."

Where is it?!! They cut that off!!

Is that the only copy we have now? I know spook had it but it looks like the video has been re-edited. What's going on here?!!!

Uh - before I fly into a volcanic eruption rage.....maybe is there another one floating around somewhere? I searched on Spooky's journal but that's the only one I see.

I'm devastated.

They cut off the rest of that interview!!!! This is a conspiracy against the all too brief power of.....BUCKIN!!!!

prairiegirl said...

This is not starting Saturday off well at all. My favorite video has been chopped. Sliced & diced. Re-packaged. Severed. Tampered with. Blue penciled. Doctored.

Mowed down like Dodge City August Grass. Destroyed!!

Hyperventilation could be on the horizon. And who has brown paper bags anymore?!! Everything is recyclable now! There are no more brown paper bags in this world!

LOL! Jake must have gotten to the footage last night. Sorry, Mr. Gyllenhaal, but you cannot erase that little hip nudge and chemistry between those two guys. Buckin may be no more, but the pairing once lived, if for only a few seconds in time.

Calm down, PG. I found it on photobucket:

Good Morning !

Happy to see all the back-and-forth this morning, but especially the Austin/Robert Buckley recollections, so thanks for rooting through the various archives for the evidence.

It's very true that these little unscripted moments provide a window or view into a place we don't often get to see with these folks. Austin just has this great vibe and a sort of unassuming warmth. I may just be projecting a little, but will prefer to just trust my own senses for now.

Just read in the paper about Elton John's support for the American Foundation for Equal Rights. He just did a concert which raised $3 million for the cause to overturn the ban on gay marriage. He didn't always feel this way, and had disappointed gay activists after Prop 8 passed back in 2008, by being luke-warm to marriage and more in favour of civil partnerships. At least the tide seems to be turning, and as I listen to "Your Song" I'll be happy to just retreat to the music for some peace, and memories of earlier years, time that is now lost.

Thoughtfully...

Today is the anniversary of Heath's death so for the day, Jake is not on my radar. It's been 3 years and I still can not believe Heath is gone. Such a shame. I've seen some videos and tributes posted on the web today, mostly photos. But one of his very best features was his voice. What a voice he had.
