We know that Austin has lied about many things in the past, so that tweet means zilch.
Well, that is what happens when you lie a lot, no one believes you anymore.
I tend to believe Austin on this one because 1) it's Christmas Eve, 2)his family lives there and 3) it's Christmas Eve.
And I wouldn't say exactly that it means "zilch". Austin tweets so rarely anymore that when he does, it's not just some "I'm going to bed now!" kind of tweet.

Austin loves his hometown. And Jake does too, Jake has said over the years how much he loves Austin when he has been interviewed during his visits. (Mack Brown Show's interview back in 2006 and this year during SXSW)
Then again when he said "I Love Austin", was he meaning the city? The fella? Or both? ; )
And it is going to be a wet Christmas in Austin this year. They are getting rain, rain, rain.
